" This is a hotel in the Daniel Boone Forest. People are there to enjoy the outdoors ,not be inside .This hotel was low on amenities but high on hospitality. The front desk and the dining staff were excellent.They were friendly and went out of their way to help me. The continental breakfast was just okay.The dinner menu was good with large portions. I would say that the cleanliness and the maintenance of the rooms could have been better.The bed was comfortable and the water was hot enough. I would have liked to have a microwave in the room."

"There was a slight odor of marijuana all on the 2nd floor -which was a little disappointing-but we ran the fan continuously and that took care of it for the most part. Wonder why the pool couldn’t be open a little earlier in the morning? Breakfast was great! Quiet room! Beautiful setting, easy access from interstate."

"I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Every little detail was carefully thought out. Clean, well stocked, and easy to get to all of the local attractions. The back deck was absolutely amazing with two separate sitting areas and the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. My host Bradley was extremely friendly and helpful in giving directions to the cabin and offering details about local activities and places to eat. I would definitely book this cabin again for a relaxing stay. "

"This place was very clean and cozy. After a day of hiking we were looking forward to soaking in the hot tub but it wouldn't turn on, we were too tired to care. The steps upstairs are very narrow so I wouldn't suggest it for an older couple. The road to get to the cabin was extremely rough, but it's no fault of the owners. The only problem with the place is the deck definitely needs work. Boards were sticking up and some were missing screws. It was definitely a nice place!"
