Friedrich-Rueckert-Gedaechtnisstaette

The room was perfectly serviceable for my one-night stay in Frankfurt, between train and airport travel. I appreciated the location so near the north ('nord') exit of the train station but avoiding the seedy streets in that area. I did not get to take advantage of the breakfast due to my early check-out time, but it may be helpful for others to know that there is no kettle or coffee maker in the room. I do not believe I have ever stayed in a hotel room in Europe that did not have at least a kettle and packets of Nescafé—which can sometimes feel like a lifesaver in an early morning, pre-airport pinch or during moments of jetlag!—just as a heads up to others.

Very nice hotel close to local attractions and within walking distance to restaurants, groceries, etc. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was also nice to have on-site parking. The hotel restaurant is very nice, but keep in mind it may be closed on some days.
