My only gripe was the lack of a late checkout option, but I do understand why that may be the case given there are no staff on site - independent contractors likely need to clean all flats over a short period between check-out and check-in instead. There is no information provided about the room size, and for three adults the room was extremely small. Due to the sloped attic ceilings, we frequently hit our heads. "Not great tbh. The room was way smaller than pictured, could almost touch three walls at the same time. The outlets were stupidly placed. You have a high bed but lets place all the lights somewhere you cant reach so you gotta use a ladder in the dark or climb up and down a lot. The nightlight didnt really work but at least that meant i could charge my phone so that was nice. The toilet or zink leaked so the bathroom floor was just wet, you only had 4 minutes of hot water but at least the water...

"Clean and practical. Really only negative feedback is that the hotel lacks character - totally monochrome and the doors are tricky to open - very difficult to grip when your hands are cold. There's a construction site next door, however no noise whatsoever and room was neat and I liked the kitchenette, handy to have plates, glasses, cups, kettle and a coffee machine. Everything you need!"

"Clean and very comfortable hotel. All staff courteous and helpful. Good choice for breakfast (continental) with plenty for everyone. Location excellent for U Bahn, literally 100 yards away. There is a direct S Bahn from the airport to Frankfurter Allee (the S85). Plenty other options also. I will be back in Berlin in the future and will definitely stay at this hotel again. And to top it all, the hotel itself is situated on the roof of a small shopping center. Brilliant."

"Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent Valentine’s trip to Berlin, which was booked through Expedia. My partner and I arrived at the hotel at approximately 1:30am after travelling, only to be informed that the Senior Suite I had paid for was no longer available. Without any clear explanation, we were told the room had effectively been downgraded. The receptionist was unable to provide a reason as to why the room I had booked and paid for had been given to another guest, nor could they explain how this situation had occurred. After being shown an alternative room, we were left with no real choice but to accept a standard room with a standard bed — significantly below the level of accommodation I had reserved and paid for. I requested either the correct room or a refund of the price difference, but this was refused. I find it completely unacceptable that a confirmed and fully paid booking was not honoured. The issues continued throughout the stay. During our three-night visit: No housekeeping attended our room. Bed sheets were not changed. The room was not cleaned at any point. On the second night, after returning late in the evening, we found the room untouched. The following day, we had to go down to reception and request fresh bed sheets and pillowcases ourselves. We were instructed to collect them from reception rather than having them delivered to the room, and I was forced to make the bed personally. While I "

"Excellent stay, the room was spotless, I really loved the combination of colours, had excellent sleep and, to my surprise , the bathroom offered both a bath tub and a shower, all the amenities , mini bar provided; Even though the hotel seemed to be pretty populated plus other events taking place (conferences etc ) there was a very quiet, relaxing atmosphere throuoght the hotel and the vast elegant lobby ; For the smokers : there is also an indoor smoking area called " Smoker s Lounge " Didn t try the breakfast but I m sure it was all good standard. Moreover, tram and train just steps away from the hotel plus pharmacies and a Rewe for different groceries, a petrol station just around the corner and even a Burger King for whoever fancies it. Seamless check in experience, same for check out, personnel very nice and welcoming will definitely stay again, as a matter of fact, I already know when I m coming back :) "
