"This stay marked a long awaited return to this amazing property and we cannot wait to go back! It is so beautifully appointed, equipped and maintained both inside and out, with great attention to detail. The flowers in the bedroom including fragrant jasmine were a lovely touch. Both Carmen and Alfonso were extremely considerate and welcoming. The village of Frigiliana is walkable and since our first visit, a footpath has been constructed along the main road making it safer to wander down to the pretty village to its many bars, restaurants and shops. I have to be honest, having visited the area before, we didn’t spend too much time away from the villa as we wanted to make the most of our stunning surroundings! Thank you again Carmen and Alfonso."

"Delightful house and garden, and Stephen is a most genial and helpful host. The only improvements would be a new gas hob, as two rings now not working properly, and more glasses and mugs. Stephen generously gave us some cash to buy more mugs when we ran short! A few more replacement lightbulbs would also be ideal. But again, lovely place and superb host. Will want to come back again!"

"Wonderful in all ways! Photos and descriptions of the villa interior and exterior provide accurate information. Everything inside the house (and the pool) was very clean. What a brilliant idea to have two separate apartments in addition to the main house, on the property. This was perfect for our extended family gathering. Plenty of space for parking cars next to the house, inside the locked gate, was convenient and secure. We appreciated the comfortable seating inside the house, on the deck and around the pool. The wi-fi was great. Communication with owner Andrew, and on-site manager Oscar was fantastic. Large grocery store & fuel station are very close. Frigiliana, Nerja and Malaga are interesting, fun, clean places to explore and are our favorite towns in Spain."

"The checking process was smooth and they let us come in very early into the property, which was amazing. The outside was gorgeous. The pool was super clean and had these amazing view of Frigliana that was refreshing. The inside however was outdated. The sofa was uncomfortable. The beds were hard and old and I think nay have had bed bugs because we were itchy the entire time we were there. The house was dusty which gave my son a lot of allergies and had a lot of cobwebs. Overall it didn't feel clean. The location is perfect, I just wish the place had been cleaner."

"This was a rural retreat (wish I could paint), very relaxing, pool was heaven. Age range between 9 - 67 local restaurants as discribed in the villa folder. Locals are really friendly and helpful, don’t worry about the access, thanks."

"We had such a lovely stay at Casa Carolina. It is in a great location, with a few minutes drive to the beautiful village of Frigliana or 15mins from the seaside. The gardens were our favourite feature with wonderful views towards the mountains providing an idyllic backdrop. The only recommendation to the owners would be to provide a few more household basics such as bin liners and washing up pads. This didn't distract from the overall experience however which was great. Thank you for a lovely stay."
