Frithsden Vineyard

A friend and I stayed four nights in London after a tour. This Riu hotel is conveniently located beside Victoria Station, The neighborhood is safe and walkable. The hotel room was comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom is large and convenient with space for cosmetic bags and hooks to hang towels. The lobby area is attractive. We did not have much contact with the hotel personnel, because none was necessary, The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

The Templeton Garden was a good pick for us. Good location, restaurants and stores nearby and Earl's Court Tube station. Biggest disappointment was the bathroom and maybe nothing could be done about it. The doors (shower, main) were so tight to each other you had to be skinny to get to the toilet. But the sink, shower and toilet were fine. Slept well in a fairly large room. Cleanliness in an issue, stained rug, didn't change sheets. Bar was great, service otherwise was spotty. Beautiful location but just had issues.
