"We wanted to explore a new town on the way to our final destination. We found this delightful downtown spot rich with history. We also loved the attention to detail and added amenities. The board games and arcade games were a hit for both the kids and adults! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back! We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again! "What a cute little apartment. Perfect for our family: 2 adult, teenage boy, and our dog. The location is quiet and close to everything you need. It was a short 15 minute drive to State College. The historic Victorian town of Bellefonte is so pretty. The old historic movie theater is converted into an antique shop, the staff was great with giving us some history talks. Talleyrand Park was gorgeous. We tried three local coffee shops that were all amazing: My Cafe Buzz (they have coffee ice cubes!), Bonfatto's (the Cafe Freddo with oat milk and their homemade Lavender syrup was to die for!) and Shaky Hands Coffee Shop; all 0.2 mile walk. We were also spoiled with coffee as the apartment had a Keurig with Latte option and a ton of coffee syrups. There was also a tea kettle and tea options. Comfy beds, lots of blankets, window AC unit kept us nice and cold. The fridge was clean, and plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils to use. The host was prompt to answer our questions and was more than accommodating for our needs! Jess really went above and beyond to assure we were comfortable, THANK YOU! We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. "

"3rd time stayed here and great as usual. Would stay again. I rarely ever have issues with the hotels/motels themselves. It’s the other guests which are usually the issue with their lack of awareness to the noise they create. Or, in this case, the dog(s) they travel with that constantly bark when they leave them alone in the room. Not the dog’s fault, was probably anxious. This was in room right next to me so no way to cover that sound with anything else. Will just request next time to maybe not place me in a room where there will be dogs right nearby if possible. The amusing part about it…this dog was barking like it was trying to say “I love you” 😄. Also, the AC/Heat unit is in the entry room only so may take some setting of the fan on high to get air back toward the bedroom on hotter days. I haven’t had any comfort issues with this myself though."
