"Rooms are very clean. Amenities are adequate. Above all the place is in an environment where ait quality is superb and hot springs are everywhere! Mt. Fuji is about 50 kilometers away and you can see it from a couple of train ride stops away whether permitting. On the other hand for customers with a certain age you may need to be prepared for slope climbing. "This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."

"The Hotel was very good for what it was… a dated 4 star theme park hotel. I booked the Mt Fuji view room but it was too cloudy to enjoy the view (no one’s fault) … the onsen was closed too which I might have missed a notification about. The room itself was well maintained, we had a sofa bed extended out for my daughter… so it was slightly cozy but comfortable. Importantly it was clean and everything worked like it should. We enjoyed the fact that it had private access to the Fuji Q theme park with discounted full-day passes. Staff were helpful, very good."
