"I had a very comfortable stay at JR East Hotel Mets Tachikawa. The location is excellent and being directly connected to Tachikawa Station makes it extremely convenient for travel, shopping, and dining. Everything you need is within walking distance. "This place is out of the way, in a nice quiet area, surrounded by tree covered hills. You do get your own, self contained room. The only real downside was that the room was not labelled as a smoking or non-smoking room...so it had been smoked in previously and some lingering effects from that. Otherwise, great spot!"

"Highest floors are un-livable, there are extremely loud vibrations that made me complain for money back. They didnt accept, however luckily they allowed me to change room for 4th floor, which I accepted and there the vibrations could not be heard, just extremely loud street noise intercom outside of the room."
