It was so wonderful to stay in an area that wasn’t overcrowded like it was in Amalfi. it was very peaceful. Luigi, Salvatore and the entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food was really great! much better than the food we had in Praiano. The breakfast buffet each day was very good with lots of options. The rooms are charming and clean. the view cannot be beat! The pool overlooking the sea is the absolute best!! They also have lounge chairs on each level which was very nice. The Furore beach is a very quick walk from the hotel. The only downside is that it’s hard to get to places from here but next time we will rent vespas/motorbikes because the buses were not good at all. The drivers are not helpful and very rude. The buses are very full and they will just pass you up. The staff was very helpful in giving contacts for car service to get in and out of Pompeii and Naples. We loved the contact they gave is and we used her (Katrina) twice. Very good driver!. We highly recommend this hotel! it’s beautiful and welcoming and very relaxing! We would definitely stay here again.

This was the absolute best stay. Luigi and all the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our stay. Me and my sister accidentally took the wrong bus, because the public transport isn’t the easiest to navigate, and Luigi was able to connect us with a driver back to the hotel. Knowing he cared so much about keeping me and my sister safe gave us such peace of mind which I am forever grateful for. This stay was so special for me and my sister, we would both happily come back to visit.

Great stay there!

It was one of greatest trip in my life. The landlord welcomed us very kindly with beautiful smile and helped our luggages to the room with same smile! You should try the food n local white wine as well; fantastic. One more, I will never forget the sunset there. I can’t wait to plan re visit there!

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful facility, off the beaten path. Halfway between Amalfi and Positano so not as congested. On the ocean. Wonderful owners and mangers. They make you feel like family upon walking in. Not an ideal facility if you are mobility challenged as their are stairs (steep) to all rooms. Buses to Amalfi and Positano are convenient- albeit very crowded.

Vänlig personal, fantastisk utsikt mot havet

Hotellet ligger spektakulärt på en klippa med fantastisk utsikt. Nivåer och trappor inom hotellet för att komma till poolen och den privata stranden längst ned på en klippa. Lite klurigt att ta sig i och upp då vågorna slår mot klipporna. Mycket vänlig personal, Luigi & Co., som bar ned och upp våra väskor för trapporna. Vi fick låna strandhanddukar. Parasoller och solstolar finns. 250 m till busshållplatsen och Fiordo di Furore, 5 min gångväg. Det som starkt drar ned betyget är att rummen behöver renoveras i sin helhet, vårt rum hade inget riktigt fönster förutom en lucka i dörren. Wifi fungerade inte på hotellrummet och det var ingen utsikt mot havet innifrån rummet, däremot från terrassen utanför hotellrummet. Vi fick inte nya handdukar varje dag vilket hade varit önskvärt. Sammanfattningsvis - hotellrummen behöver renoveras från grunden, i övrigt var allt utmärkt.

Localização muito boa entre Amalfi e Positano, ao lado do Fiorde de Furore. Atendimento muito gentil. Tentar te ajudar de todas as maneiras. Vista magnífica!!! Quarto não era o que aparece nas fotos so Hotel. com. Ficamos em um quarto no último andar inferior (4 escadas para se chegar ao quarto), nos fundos. Banheiro muito pequeno, quarto cheira mofo e com moveis velhos. O nome do quarto Emanuela! O da frente chama-se Ingrid e era totalmente diferente (como a foto do Hotel.com). Voltaria ao hotel, mas com especificações de qual quarto ficaria!

O diferencial dessa hospedagem é o atendimento, nota 10, mas a localização e a manutenção do quarto deixaram a desejar. Difícil acesso de ônibus, parada fica a 300m e não tem calçada, então dividir este espaço apertado com os carros é complicado, ainda mais se tiver malas. Nosso quarto estava sem frigobar, mesmo estando incluso no anúncio. Nosso chuveiro não fixava na parede, ficava caindo. A cama ficava separando no meio, pois eram duas de solteiro coladas uma na outra.

Cliff side hangout!

This is such a nice place to stay. It’s a down to earth hotel that feels like a guest house. The hosts are so friendly (the most friendly on our whole trip) and helpful. You may feel like your in the middle of nowhere (paradise), but buses go in both directions ( right out front) taxis can be called, and you can walk to Praiano (20 min) or Fiordo di furore (highly recommend 5 minutes. Our stay here was all about the outside views, wine and swimming in the ocean.

Breath-taking view from a room on a cliff!

Rooms are stacked up on a cliff so some climbing is required (but hotel staff will help with the luggage). It also offers a pool, and direct access to the ocean if you're brave enough to swim in it. The view is just unbelievable, directly from our room! Hotel restaurant also offers decent food. Would like to come back!

What a place! Amazing two days at Amalfi Coast. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Family-owned and operated, everything is personal. Start hitting a gym if you want to run downstairs to the sea! Views are amazing.

Family run hotel with a great view and location

We chose this place as our center to visit different locations on the Amalfi coast and in the mountains and it was a perfect location for that. I loved Amalfi and Positano but could not imagine beeing hosted there because of the crouds. This hotel has also direct and wild access to the sea and has bathing areas and a small pool. We took the room with a bathtub and it was great. Also because it was the uppest room with a great view and access. To some of the rooms you have to take quite a lot of stairs. In my mind car is however needed to get here. My car has never had a better view as the parking lot (for free!) is on top of the cliff. And last but not least, we enjoyed the family run service, felt very welcomed. And the food + desserts was good.

Die Lage ist einzigartig insbesondere, wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist (Bushaltestelle vor der Tür). Schwimmen bei ruhiger See ideal, Personal sehr freundlich. Viele kleine Terrassen und tolle Ausblicke. Nicht geeignet für Gehbehinderte. Wir würden wiederkommen.

This was my second stay in 18 months. Love this place. Both times I had smaller rooms, Jennifer and Claudia, which were totally charming. My friend was in Ingrid, which was a knockout with its view above the cove. Food is so good, you could dine there most days and not miss much. I love that it's slightly remote, lushly landscaped, and full of secret nooks. You can still catch the bus to Amalfi and Positano easily. I'm a travel writer and Locanda is one of my favorite hideouts in the the world. I'm a swimmer, so I love the cove—you can even swim to the fjord in around 10-15 minutes. Staff is lovely and warm.
