"This seems to be a newer property. It was well maintained and exceptionally well located on a walking street with access to plenty restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfy and breakfast was very good. This is a great place to stay for first time visitors to Istanbul."

"Very comfortable room. The a/c worked great. Room was close to the Metro stops. I was focused on seeing the bazaar and Hagia Sophia, which are a few stops south... and so missed out on exploring Taksim square (don't make the same mistake as me!) The staff was very kinda. And the food at the hotel was a little spendy, but delicious."

"The hotel is in an absolute perfect location for those going on a cruise. It is literally directly across the street from the cruise gate entrance. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Only situation is that as it is located near the street and the cruise hub, you will hear traffic."

"Our Home Away From Home in Istanbul ❤️ We have been staying at this hotel every year for the past five years, and honestly, it has become our home away from home in Istanbul. Every time we come back, we feel like we are coming home, not just checking into a hotel. The location is absolutely perfect. It’s in beautiful Galata, close to the water, public transportation, the metro, restaurants, cafés, and everything you need to enjoy Istanbul. We can easily walk around and get anywhere we want. But what truly makes this place special is the people. Can and Samira, the manager, have always been incredibly kind, helpful, welcoming, and caring toward us. They go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. After five years of coming here, they genuinely feel like friends and family to us. This hotel has a special place in our hearts. ❤️ We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Istanbul. If you’re looking for a great location, wonderful hospitality, and a place where you’ll feel truly welcomed, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making every one of our stays so special. "Return to the late Ottoman Empire and imagine yourself freshly arrived from the Orient Express. Pera Palas commands instant relaxation and repose from the bustling city. A short drive to the old city with fantastic views from the higher floors and surrounded by lovely side streets with cafés and restaurants tucked down alleyways. The public rooms and guest rooms are beautiful. The history and grandeur of the hotel is surpassed only by the incredibly warm and gracious staff who make you feel a part of their family despite the ornate surroundings."
