Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed warmly with a Turkish coffee and loved the historical property. This is my 3rd trip to Istanbul in the last couple of years and this is one of my favourite neighbourhoods. There are so many great cafes, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. With that said, on Saturday night it was crazy loud - like was loud music and people singing/being drunk on the street until 4:30am - seriously not cool and not what you’d expect (the noise and inability to sleep) in an upmarket hotel. Thank goodness the next nights were fine. Definitely ask for a high floor or room facing away from the street as its a real problem.

Excellent stay!

My stay was excellent. The front desk was amazing and went above & beyond to offer help in every way. The room was immaculate and decorated extremely well. Beautiful rooftop view. My only suggestion would be to have at least one vegan dish on the menu.

A gem in the heart of the city. It is located at a walkable distance to all key touristy spots in the city. The vibe of cafes and night life around the property is the best part. . The property is a nice boutique hotel with an old world charm. The staff have been very kind and courteous. Special call out to Samit for making us feel like home.

The room was clean ans spacious, the staff was amazing and spoke perfect english. They were incredibly helpful. the only thing is that it has stair on both entrances and are a bit steep. They do have a chair for someone who needs it, but still the stairs are steep.

Stanza e bagno ampi ma purtroppo gli infissi vecchi non isolavano né dal rumore né dal freddo: abbiamo faticato a dormire a causa della musica altissima dei locali vicini all’hotel andata avanti tutta notte. Il palazzo in cui si trova l’hotel è storico e molto bello ma decisamente non accessibile con le valigie a causa delle scale molto ripide all’ingresso. Colazione molto abbondante e varia servita all’ultimo piano dell’hotel con una vista molto bella sulla città.

Charming Hotel with a Stunning Rooftop Bar

The Adahan DeCamondo Pera in Istanbul – a fantastic hotel in a charming part of the city. We felt completely at home. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the service excellent, and the staff incredibly friendly. We also received wonderful tips about the city and restaurants. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the stunning rooftop bar with its breathtaking view. We will definitely be back!

Lovely stay from start to finish! The staff at the front desk was always friendly, attentive, and helpful. We felt very welcomed. We had a corner room that was huge! Nice furnishings, although a bit worn, large windows with blackout curtains, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also huge. The shower had nice water pressure. If there had been more hooks, we would have opted to reuse our towels, but with only two small hooks, our towels did not dry overnight, so we got fresh towels daily. Housekeeping always did a great job - the room was very clean. The rooftop bar and restaurant are quite nice. The view is great and the cocktails are tasty. We did not do a proper meal up there, but enjoyed our snacks. Idris was our wonderful server who was very attentive and full of suggestions on which cocktails to try. The area around the hotel is full of dining and shopping options. It's conveniently located near public transit choices, including the Funicular! It's a hilly, but very walkable location. We very much enjoyed our stay!
