"This is a decent hotel. Its main advantages are access to the beach (about a two minute walk), great staff and on-site parking which we have discovered can not be taken for granted in Sicily. However the room we were in (Zeus) felt quite dated. It's an old hotel that would benefit from some love, especially since our 'comfort double room' was $250+/night. We expect a bit nicer accommodations at that price."

"Lots of potential and positive points though I do think there can be some improvements Positives: - Absolutely stunning view++ - Beautiful and large pool/pool area - Breakfast in the glass room is so peaceful in the am - Excellent daily housekeeping - Great location as a base to explore many towns in the region - just be aware of the ~10 min drive from the highway area to get to the agriturismo -Were able to lend us beach equipment which was appreciated Negatives: - Pool maintenance could have been improved. It was completely green for two days of the stay and was only cleaned once while we were there (6 nights). It was September and many families still were using the pool. We were told it was due to the rain but it only rained on the first day so it seemed strange to us and was not the case at the hotels we visited after. - We didn’t feel that personnel here were as welcoming as other Agriturismo we’ve been do in Sicily and around Italy. -Often had issues getting hot water in the shower (would go from hot to cold randomly) -No electronic fob for the gate"

"A little gem on the outskirts of Avola town centre. Buffet breakfast with homemade specialities. Direct walking distance to the beach or town square. English speaking lovely hosts who are very keen to answer any questions. There are local bus services for all connections to other areas to visit like Sirucusa , Noto etc and also a direct bus to Cantania airport which runs hourly: tickets are to be pre-booked at Via Dante 9 and the bus stop is just over the same square Piazza Triestre. Restaurant options in abundance and something for everyone and anywhere at various prices. Be aware that almost everything closes at 13.00 until 16.00 including supermarkets. Avola is a small lively traditional town with plenty of history and sunshine: information found at the info centre in the Piazza Umberto. A place to wind down and embrace the Sicilian way of life or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. A week is suffice."

"My family and friends were very cared for and supported by Ettore! The Villa was perfect for our ‘foodie’ needs! Space to be together, space to be apart and each segment of the house offered a new opportunity to be together. The foliage gave us privacy and coolness from the heat of the day. Ettore was stellar at sharing local information and authentic experiences. The house is conveniently located close to the beach and allowed day trips to local areas and then, to return to our cool pool or dip in the ocean. We would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it for families that want to relax in a casual and authentic space to relax and unwind."

Löste problem mycket snabbt. Typ slut på gasol o vattenläckage på en av kylenheterna. Han gav även tips på storinhandling av mat i närliggande by, då affärsutbudet var något begränsat.Tips: gärna tillgång till bil för storhandlingar då närmaste minimarket låg 10-15 min promenad bort vilket kan bli lite ansträngande om 32C och pensionärUnderbart ställe för 17 pers, alla mellan 5-75 år. "Fantastic stay in Fontane BiancheA beautiful huge villa situated on the beach, fabulous views and location. Fontane Bianche beach is busy, particularly at the weekends, but at Villa Dream you can relax in the lovely landscaped gardens away from the crowds and access the beach and clear sea from your garden gate.Andrea, the owner was very helpful in providing information and welcoming us to his property. Likewise, Angela the house manager was absolutely lovely and could not be more helpful, including driving us to the local shop for groceries etc.The air conditioning in bedrooms and living areas was modern and very good. Beds were comfy and bedrooms spacious. The villa was very clean and Andrea had arranged for the large gardens to be sprayed for mosquitos before we arrived, as a result we did not get bitten at all, despite sitting in the gardens for many hours. We were 4 friends staying and we had lots of space, including 3 bathrooms. The villa is also very secure.The local 'holiday market' for groceries was a 5 minute walk, and there was a lovely gelato shop Casa della Granita about 4 minutes away. There are 3 restaurants in easy walking distance. La Capanina is about 4 minute walk, the food is delicious and very reasonable, Malafemmina is about 10 minutes, a more up market restaurant with lovely views and cocktails. We would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Villa Dream, it is the best villa we have stayed in."
