If you want a spot with good beach access and within walking distance to pier and lots of restaurants this is your place. Staff was friendly enough but didn’t go out of their way to help. The room was clean. The TV did not work at first. It was not plugged in! However, That did not solve the problem, they had to have someone come and check out the situation! Took awhile to come, but they were busy with a sold out night, He did come and repair it! It was a busy night, and storms were going on and they keep everyone satisfied! Not sure they would be my first pick, but wouldn’t refuse staying there either!

This is a basic, older motel. Set your expectations accordingly. But it's in an excellent beach-front location close to historic east-end Galveston. It was not perfectly clean, but still okay. Breakfast options were limited. The staff was very accommodating. The area felt safe and was walkable.

An older hotel, but well maintained. TV didnt work so called the front desk and someone was there within 5 minutes to fix it. Then discovered no towels or wash cloths in the room, called again and went to the front desk after waiting an hour. Other than that, great beach access and close enough for a walk to the pier.
