Reel Livin' Coastal Style

Bring your boat and take advantage of this home's boat lift and fish some of Texas' best bays for catching Speckled Trout, Red fish and Flounder minutes away from the dock! If you don’t bring a boat, no worries. There are 2 kayaks available with life jackets and paddles, just10$ each per day. There are flood lights and an underwater green light that attract fish to your dock. Bring your day's catch back and make use of your own cleaning table with water and electricity available. There are also 2 crab traps you are welcome to bait and set out. The beautiful nearby beaches are just a short distance away and downstairs you will find an enclosed, dual heated shower to rinse off the sand from the day's fun in the sun! We also have lawn chairs you can carry to the beach. Whether you come with a boat or not, you'll be sure to enjoy the water views from the wrap-around decking upstairs! There's plenty of seating for lounging and enjoying your favorite cocktails and taking in the beautiful sunset! There is a pellet grill, picnic table, and corn hole game downstairs for your enjoyment.

This home features an open living area with a 65" TV, WI-FI, granite counters in the kitchen and stainless appliances. The largest suite has a king size bed with adjoining bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a stackable full-size clothes washer and dryer in this bathroom for your use. The second room features a queen size bed and features a 40" television for your viewing pleasure. The third room features two twin size beds. There is a full size bathtub in the bathroom in between the second and third rooms.

All bedding and bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths and kitchen towels are provided for you.

We have rented several homes between Jamaica Beach and Treasure Island, and this was by far our favorite! It felt more like we were guests in someone's home, vs renting. The kitchen is very well appointed, downstairs patio is large with lots of chairs and seating. Gas grill was awesome as well (and included the gas!). The host was extremely easy to work with. Our favorite part - everything worked!

Awesome Vacation!

We had such a wonderful time at “Reel Livin’”. The house was immaculate, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Being right on the canal was amazing. Marcie went above and beyond for our family and was an amazing hostess. The beach was close by just a very short drive. We highly recommend.

Great stay and great hosts

The places lived up to our expectations of a laid back summer vacation. Boys were able to fish on the property and at a nearby pier. Great beach access a couple easy miles down the road. Knowledgeable and friendly hosts. A tropical depression cut our stay short and the hosts were gracious and accommodating.

Reel Livin Is Awesome

Hosts Marcie and Scooter were very helpful and friendly. The property was very pleasing and enjoyable. We will definitely recommend this to family and friends that may come to the area, and we will definitely come back.

GREAT PROPERTY

Such an amazing property with even better owners. Owners had no problems answering all of my crazy questions. SUPER RESPONSIVE!!! House was clean and pet friendly. Kids had a great time fishing at the house and beach access isnt far. 10/10 will stay there again.

All we needed!

We went for a week with family for fishing and time together with kids too. The owner communicated before, during and after perfectly:) The place has 3 rooms and 2 baths… but we enjoyed the upstairs & downstairs sitting areas for great special time together mornings & evenings too. The boat lift area was great & they have all you need for anything you want to do. I love thus nature preserve area my husband fishes. The herons, pelicans & many other birds and sea life are great and it is so peaceful.

Great place, better host!

My family and I enjoy the rental—great location with close proximity to the beach and park and we fish right at the dock. The rental has crab traps, fishing night lights, fishing poles, kayaks, life jackets, etc. House was clean our host quickly responded to any questions we had. We will definitely come back again next year.

Last minute booking

This was exactly what we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the cargo lift when we arrived. There was enough space for all to relax and enjoy family time. We took long walks and got plenty of sun at the beach. I will say to come prepared with lots of mosquito repellent. The owners were responsive when needed. Thank you for helping us make memories!

Beach House

We have been coming to Galveston for over 8 years now. We recently found this amazing house two years ago and have been booking trips at this location over and over again. The owners are super sweet. Any questions are answered right away. The house is stocked on supplies. The fishing is great off the dock. We typically bring our boat and they always allow us to use the boat ramp. Neighborhood is nice and friendly. We have taken many friends to this location and they all fall in love with the house.

Birthday Retreat

It was just as described. It was quiet & relaxing. Love being on the canal. Made it easy to fish whenever I wanted. We did exactly what we wanted to which was chill. I gave 4 stars bc the only TV working was in the family room. But the reclining chairs were very comfortable so it was bearable. The owner was very responsive & did explain about the TVs also. Great place to stay tho!

Relax and enjoy the salty breeze

‘Reel Livin’ was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy some spring time beach life. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Hosts were great communicators. Would definitely return.

Weekend trip

Such a nice place! Ricky, the owner was great and easy to deal with. The house was clean and the pictures does not show how nice his place really is. We will definitely be back in the spring when the fish are a little more active.
