Top Gamaliel Hotel Reviews

Quaint cottage by the Lake

10/10 Excellent

"Kevin and family was very helpful and great to work with."

Private tiny cabin- 15 minutes from Dale Hollow Lake!

10/10 Excellent

"Ashley and Jared's little cottage was the perfect getaway for me and my Bestie. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Ashley is a great communicator and everything was just perfect. Try the farm fresh eggs and sourdough pancake batter....HIGHLY recommend!"

Custom Cabin w/ 12 Acres on Dale Hollow Lake!

8/10 Good

"There was supposed to be a pool and it was completely gone not just closed. The firepit was broken and several messages and calls to the host did no good. You can’t walk to the lake. Other than those things the place is a 5 star rating. I gave a 4 because the fire pit was never fixed and the host NEVER returned my calls or texts."

The Jackson House at Barren River Lake - Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' everyday!

10/10 Excellent

"Highly recommend this property. Had such a unique feel. Great country home with lots of space and the decor was spot on. We stayed here with our 5 kiddos (ages 3-12) and there was plenty of room/beds. It was a relaxed comfortable setting. We sat out by the fire pit one night and enjoyed some s’mores under the beautiful Kentucky night. It’s really close to Barren River Lake which is an absolutely stunning lake to hang out at and even rent boats. Mammoth Cave is about 30 minutes away driving through the countryside. Overall, great stay and if we are ever back in the area we will book again."

Quiet farm stay, hike, mushroom hunt, see the animals, relax, so much more!

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was so relaxing. Beautiful sunrises the most friendliest dogs. The girls loved feeding the animals every morning. It is close to mammoth cave and Ky Down Under where we got to pet kangaroos. I spent one whole day just on the porch listening to the birds coloring and reading a book. I would go here once a month and stay if it was closer. The place was clean and so cute. The bed was super cozy and soft. I cooked every night and we had everything we needed."
