Beautiful location right on the lake. The hotel is lovely and centrally located - easy walk to the train station and very close to restaurants and shopping.Get a room on the upper floor to really enjoy the view.
Locarno is a little less pricey than Lugano (which you can easily visit by train or my favorite way - by ferry.

A wonderful short trip to Collinetta. Beautiful weather in a beautiful spot. The view is incredible. The room very new (and also still smelled very new). The garden was very inviting and the team tried the best to make us feel comfortable.
The only downside: On Hotels.com there is no mentioning that December - February the hotel is operated as Garni. This has the impact, that the restaurant is closed, and worst: The swimmingpool is closed. We learned about this the day before arrival - to...
