"Our stay here was everything we hoped for and more. The room was immaculate from the moment we walked in, with spotless floors, fresh linens, and thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. The staff went above and beyond at every turn, greeting us by name and happily pointing us toward the best local trails and hidden spots. Breakfast was a genuine highlight, with a generous spread of fresh, hot options that set us up perfectly for a full day of exploring. The location couldn’t be better for anyone visiting the national park, just a short and scenic drive from the entrance. We loved coming back each evening to such a comfortable, welcoming space after long days outdoors. We’ll absolutely be staying here again on our next trip and recommend it wholeheartedly to fellow travelers."

Cottage 215 Claddaghduff Connemara

"To call this cottage 215 is such an impersonal title for such a lovely welcoming home! Our family of six had an absolutely lovely stay! The cottage was quite roomy to allow everyone to have their own separate spaces when needed but also for all of us to come together for meals and to relax in front of the peat fire or enjoy the magnificent views out the sunroom windows. We especially enjoyed watching the Irish hares come up to the patio and seeing the porpoises and the seal out in the water. The walk down to the water could be a little difficult for guests with mobility issues but we enjoyed the trek down. My husband and son even did a little rock climbing! We did experience a few midges the first two days as well as ticks.The kitchen was very well equipped only lacking in measuring spoons and cups but that might be an American thing. We so enjoyed seeing generations of pictures around the cottage. Any questions we had were promptly answered by the owners. This cottage is quite remote but it was exactly what we were looking for. We spent two very sunny days exploring the nearby Omey Island. We enjoyed a meal at Sweeney's and three delicious meals in nearby Cleggan. After dinner at home a few of the nights we took a walk out to the westernmost tip to watch the sunset on the rocks. Truly such a lovely place to stay and we look forward to the next time we can come back. "
