"The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!"

"We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. As you should expect Irish weather changes on a dime from rain to sun and back in a moments notice. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful."

"We all loved this cottage. It looks beautiful, inside and out, and we loved being in such a remote location, yet within easy reach of Roundstone and other Connemara highlights. Our only reservation is that it did feel a bit damp inside, and we couldn't work out whether the heating was working properly or not."
