"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"This property met our needs and was chosen as dog friendly. Dog didn’t end up coming thankfully as garden was not sufficiently secure. Excellent location, Connemara coastal area is stunning, plenty to occupy, food and drink perfect. However, a couple of points: Heating noise disruptive Kitchen floor needs attention Better garden furniture required 13.5 duvet too hot in July!"

"Clifden is a lovely little town. The place was much bigger than expected and we all had plenty of space to stretch out. We did have a snafu with one of the internets, but it was explained that the place downstairs is remodeling and likely cut the line. The other WiFi worked great! Shower pressure was a little light, but nothing that was terrible. Overall, we would definitely rent this place again and stay for much longer next time in Clifden!!"

"The hotel is excellent! Friendly staff, updated comfortable and clean rooms, great food and hotel bar, and great location to explore charming Clifden. I recommend driving down from Westport Mayo on the Wild Atlantic Way before you arrive. Such a charming part of this beautiful country!"

"Have you ever wanted to stay in an Irish Cottage on the Cliffs above the sea, but were afraid you'd not have modern amenities? Once Upon A Time is the place for you! Located right off Sky Road with sweeping views of the bay and Atlantic, this stone house has five bedrooms, four and a half baths, modern kitchen and three sitting rooms. It is so comfortable you will be happy to sit and enjoy the view rain or shine. Less than 15 minutes to the town of Clifden with its format restaurants, grocery stores, spa and shops. Klyemore Abbey, Killary Sheep Farm and Connemara National Park are less than an hour away. We had a party of six and were very comfortable. Highly recommend this home away from home!"
