"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "The beach and restaurant are quite lovely as is the entrance to the hotel. We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. There was a party in the room above us all night that made it impossible to sleep. I’m sure it was once a lovely location but it hasn’t aged well. Best for young folks that want to party. "

"This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "We had a great vacation at Salvatores house in Pace del Mela. The garden and pool are really big and are perfect to relax and have a good time. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures, we were very happy to spend our time there. The Check-in was easy and Salvatore always helped us quickly when we had a question. I can highly recommend it!"

"Antonio was an amazing host and the house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and the views were incredible!! Antonio’s mother was so accommodating and greeted us even though it was nearly 3am by the time we arrived, on a night before work! She had provided us with snacks and homemade bread. She ended up making us a tarimasu, a homemade lasagna and fried zucchini all of which were amazing!!! The pool was a perfect escape from the heat and overall just an amazing experience. "We thoroughly enjoyed our perfect stay at Domus Nova! The owner Giuseppe was a fantastic host making us feel welcome as if we were visiting relatives! He graciously carried our luggage up the small flight of stairs and upgraded us to a balcony suite making our stay even more pleasant with a beautiful view of the Strait of Messina/Sicily. Giuseppe was extremely knowledgeable, offered several recommendations to visit around the local area including several attractions in nearby cities and took the time to greet us and check in daily. Every morning the lovely Fryline served us espresso/cappuccino and offered a nice selection of pastries, meat and cheese and the friendly staff thoroughly cleaned our room every morning. The room was clean and spacious with a smart tv, AC, and all the amenities-our rainfall shower was very hot with good water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are centrally located in the heart of Reggio behind Corso Garibaldi just minutes from the Centrale train station. Steps from the resort is excellent shopping historical monuments and amazing restaurants. A couple of blocks from the resort is Lungomare, several lovely beaches and restaurants on the water. Out of all the hotels and B&B we stayed at throughout Italy and USA over the years, Domus Nova was more like staying with family (that you actually like!) we can’t wait to return here again!"
