Perfect!
Staff were friendly and accommodating. We requested early breakfast one of the mornings and they did their best to provide everything they could so early on, which was appreciated. Location was perfect. Highly recommended!

Very nice place on the lake front
Very nice place, exceptionally located on the lake front. The hotel has been nicely renovated and the staff was really nice (even waiting for us for a late check-in after our flight was delayed). Highly recommended!

Great location, apparrtments are spacious, clean, and rennovated and preserved (historical building). In the pedestrian area where it gets quite lively at night the windows are well insulated also which keeps the rooms quiet and comfortable for staying with a nice view over the lake.

Well kept hotel right on Garda waterfront
a lovely hotel kept to a high specification right in the centre of Garda old town/waterfront, staff very friendly and happy to answer any questions on the local area, ferry routes etc. Free breakfast was nice. Lake view room looked right onto the port, we were treated to a lovely sunset the night of our arrival. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Garda next year :)

The hotel is located right on the lake front in the beautiful pedestrian area of the old town of Garda. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was very good . Plenty of restaurants and bars close to the hotel. Note that the hotel is in a pedestrian only area so that one needs to carry the luggage from the nearest parking area which may be a block or so away.

Very close to lake with lovely views . Our room was spacious and clean with everything we needed - though like most brits aboad we did take our kettle. Only down side is that it is in a pedestrian area and so airport drop of and collection was a short walk away which is fine but there was a thunderstorm in progress while we waited for our transport

Lovely hotel, great location on the waterfront. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel the first night and the food was good and reasonably priced. Only slight negative was balcony was quite small so couldn’t both sit out on it.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The cafe downstairs is a great place to eat in evening. Parking is provided free but as this hotel is in the nice old town centre the car park is a short walk. The staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming.

Our very comfortable and spacious room had panoramic views north, west and south across Lake Garda. Immediately below us was a very lively square, right in the centre of Garda town's lake shore, where we had breakfast every day (except the one morning that it rained for an hour). The staff were very friendly, attentive and obliging. Far exceeded expectations overall.

Nice hotel, excellent location, on the lake-front and close to all facilities such as shops, restaurants, bars, bus station and ferry. However, I was not happy as I felt I wasn't at first given the room I had paid for - 'the deluxe double/twin with balcony and lake view'. Also described as having separate sitting area and being an 'accessible' room for wheelchair. The room we were given was only reached by stairs (2nd floor) and had steps into the bathroom so certainly was not the room we booked. However, once I pointed this out we were offered another room on 1st floor that could be reached by lift if necessary, that was bigger, had one easy chair (that the first room didn't have), a larger balcony with better lake view and a larger, walk-in shower so was an accessible room. However, we still didn't have the separate sitting area as advertised although outside of our room was a lounge area for all guests and maybe this was what was referred to in the original room description. It is misleading though and I think needs to be looked at in the hotel room descriptions. We enjoyed our stay very much though and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable although an additional easy chair would be an improvement. Certainly 5/5 for location and view. I would return to this hotel again providing I felt I was given the room I had paid for.

Lovely hotel and staff.
Lovely hotel (as long as stairs aren't a problem to you). The hotel is on the front next to the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Simon is a font of knowledge and Benji is a character who makes you smile. The rooms are cleaned daily and the sheets are changed daily too. The room we had (6) had air-con, two windows and a small balcony. The food was excellent with good service. Would try to book this hotel again if we visit Lake Garda in the future.

Great hotel right in the center of Garda. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Only drawback is the wifi connectivity, but we were on holiday, so that wasn't a necessity. Would recommend for sure!

Great location
Excellent location in the centre of Garda and right on the lake front close to the ferry terminal. Although not flashy, the hotel was very nice indeed. The bedroom and bathroom were both large, and the bed extremely comfy. We had a beautiful view of the harbour and the mountains beyond. Breakfast is served outside when the weather permits and there is a good selection on offer. The staff could not have been friendlier - thank you for making us feel so welcome. Although there is a lift in the hotel, we took the stairs instead, as it was so slow and usually full of hotel supplies so we were unsure whether it was even meant for the guests' use. Also, the addition of a mirror in the bedroom would have been appreciated as the light in the bathroom wasn't bright enough for doing hair and applying make up. However, on the whole, we we're very pleased and would stay here again.

Beautiful chilled out spot to end our grand tour
Right in the middle of the action in Garda, but very chilled out at the same time. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our 10 day Northern Italy grand tour, and we absolutely loved it. We had the 1st floor room with balcony (an extra bit of space I think) and view over the square and lake - and we LOVED it.... There are dozens of reasonably priced options for dinner / drinks literally right on the doorstep (including the hotel's restaurant itself which offers 10% off if you are a resident). Be aware that you cannot drive right up to the hotel (pedestrianised area which afterwards you will be glad of), so you need to perch in the nearby carpark and run your luggage along at which point the hotel will give you a (free) pass to a nearby larger carpark 10-15mins walk away - all sounds complicated but it's really fine and having the cars out of the way actually adds to the feeling of relaxation once you're settled. The ferry to Sirmione (well worth a trip) and to other destinations on the lake is pretty much over the road, there are dozens upon dozens of shops stocking everything from normal tourist stuff to luxury high end clothing etc. Verona (about 30-40min drive) is well worth a few hours trip out if you have time - absolutely gorgeous, and although we were only there for a bit rivalled Venice, Florence and Siena as the nicest town/city of our trip. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - they quickly got used to the number of coffees we wanted over breakfast etc.

Lakeside hotel
The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were excellent. They were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The breakfast was first class with lots of choice, they catered well for different nationalities. They would make you omelettes or scrambled eggs with a filling of your choice each day. There was a downside to the hotel which was that although it was advertised as having a lift, it only went from the first to the second floor.

The hotel had excellent location. Iur room overlooked the square and the lake. Excellent breakfast and staff were so friendly. We ate in hotel restaurant on a few occasions. Food excellent and we received a discount on the bill. Room was small but adequate could have done with more hangers in the wardrobe but we managed as we didnt ask for more. Small negative when showering, the bathroom always flooded as the shower curtain was too short thankfully it was a wet room arrangement. A wonderful period hotel in the heart if Garda.

Good location but little bit overpriced
This hotel located in the lakeside of garda, surrounding by restaurants and shops, good view and vibe. But when I use the bathtub, unfortunately, it’s a little bit dusty and the water became yellow, maybe because it’s not the tourist season now......they didn’t clean it as usual. The room is new and big. Overall, I think it did not reach my expectations and the price is little bit high for this season.

Great hotel in excellent location
Hotel Remat is has only about 12 rooms and it was definitely worth paying a bit extra for rooms with a lake view. The rooms are quite spacious with en-suite facilities - shower, but no bath.The hotel restaurant spreads itself almost to the lake edge and all the staff, both restaurant and hotel are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel is central to Garda town and the ferry post and bus station are easy walks away (opposite directions). There are many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars close by. We all agreed that we could not have chosen better if we had been to Garda previously - definitely will choose Remat for our next visit to the resort.

Lakeside with a lovely restaurant and happy staff
We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Remat. The room was modern and spacious, equipped with all that we needed, excellent aircon plus a balcony and lake view. The breakfast was one of the best we experienced in Italy. The waitress was extremely attentive, preparing cooked breakfasts and fresh coffee. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant, the food was great and waiters very welcoming. Housekeeping and reception all very friendly with great suggestions for places to visit. (We would recommend San Virgilio

Well centered hotel, near the waterfront.
Exceptionally clean hotel with the friendliest and attentive staff. Simon the bar tender/waiter/check-in staff member was most attentive and helpful with luggage. Gabriela the room cleaner was always cheerful and daily asked if she could do anything else to make our stay more comfortable. Maria the breakfast server/attendant was always genuinely happy to serve and always put out a beautiful display of breakfast goods. Daily she would offer the preparation of eggs, variety of coffee preparations, etc. Room was most comfortable. Our only dislike was the color of the bathroom (taupe) which made it difficult to clearly view my toiletries, even with the large window within the bathroom. Over all lighting in the room & bathroom were more for ambiance and not practical. Would I stay there again? Certainly! However I would request room #6, with lots of natural lighting and lighter painted walls.

We stayed in Room 7 in Hotel Remat and had a lovely time there! Room was large and airy and had beautiful views of the harbour and lake through all three windows! Large bathroom which was very modern although watch out for glass shower in the night! Staff were very friendly and helpful and served a nice continental breakfast each morning. Free wifi was a little slow but overall a lovely old building with modern facilities and lovely food in the restaurant below!

Beautiful Garda
We have recently returned from our stay at Hotel Remat on the beautiful Lake Garda. The hotel is small and friendly and in perfect position right on the lakefront. Our bedroom was decorated in authentic Italian style and the bed was very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The air conditioning was a bonus as it was quite warm at night even at the end of September! The bathroom was huge with a walk in rain shower and the towels and linen were changed every day. The breakfast room is on the first floor and is open from 8.00 with rolls, croissants jam/preserves, fruit and assorted meats/cheeses. The breakfast staff are very friendly and will bring omelettes, scrambled eggs and coffee of your choice on request. The hotel has it's own restaurant outside which we also tried and the food was very good with 10% off for hotel residents which was a bonus! I would definitely recommend this hotel, we enjoyed our stay there immensely and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Beautiful, quaint, authentic Italian hotel, with great style features as you would expect from the Italians. Very central for everything I.e food, lake views, night time music, bus station. Our room was minimalist but with everything you need right there. Comfy, large bed. Good wi-if connection throughout our stay here. Breakfast was quite good, but all of the croissants had sweet fillings which I would have preferred left plain. A minor complaint in the grand scheme of things.

Wonderful hotel, right in the middle of Garda. Room was very spacious for Italian standards and for it's super central location. Only bad thing about the room was the super dirty airco filters, we suspect they never knew that air-conditioners have filters you actually have to clean! The (big) breakfast is very nice and fresh omelets are offered every morning. Service is very friendly, also from the waiter team in their restaurant. We traveled with a car and parking is free, though about a 15 minute walk away! No fun when it rains... All in all a great hotel in Garda!

This is a small hotel situated on the promenade and is therefore ideal for local restaurants and shops. It is just a few minutes walk from both the bus station and the lake ferry point. Guests benefit from a 10% discount to the associated hotel restaurant. The rooms have individual character and the service is personal and friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast and staff were happy to tailor cooked food to your individual choice.

Overall a fantastic hotel
Hotel is located in a fantastic location overlooking the harbour and lake. it is in walking distance to all the local amenities. the hotel staff are very friendly and nothing is ever too much for them. the food at the hotel is highly recommended and hotel guests are given a 10% discount. I will definitely be returning to this hotel again. A fantastic trip away!
