Beautiful location, right outside Yellowstone. Beautiful and peaceful vìew. Beds were not the most comfortable, but doable. Cleanlineas could have been much better. Found old cereal on the floor as well as a bit of dirt in bathroom floor areas. Some better sweeping and vacuuming would have solved this easily. Overall, would stay here again, just need a bit more attention to cleanliness.

Thank you for the review.Sorry for the Misses in the room and thank you for bringing it to our attention so we can have our staff pay closer attention.
Very quiet with beautiful view of the mountains. Kitchen was well equipped and had a supply of quality coffee to use. So close to market and entrance to YNP. Sits right above the River. I would stay there again!

We were coming from Bozeman for a night after visiting Yellowstone. Checking in was quick and easy and the location perfect. We had a big car and parking was fine but on a busy day it could have been difficult. There was plenty of hot water and the heaters kept the room at a good temperature. I would stay here again.

The views are amazing. The hotel is nice, but dated. Could use a little refresh, but overall we were very happy with our stay.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, Thank you for the review.
Absoraka Lodge is a delight for the eyes with each room facing the river, giving it a very picturesque atmosphere. It is small , clean, and quaint. It’s location is exceptional—in the middle of town, near, it all. We had a great one-night stay and would stay there again.
It was small and a little dated but the view from the balcony was great and right where we needed to be to start our Yellowstone visit. We were able to walk to dinner across a pretty bridge.
We really loved this place. It's definitely a little older but the location and the view are amazing. The place was clean and service was great. Having coffee on the balcony with the elk was the icing on the cake. We'd definitely stay here again.
The balcony and view alone is worth it at this place. Couldn’t have asked for better! Hotel itself is older but everything was clean and comfortable, and it was great for a one night stay. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in gardiner so it was perfect location.
We enjoyed our stay. It was great to have a kitchenette, we were able to make all our meals after our adventures. Great views, great staff, and wonderful wildlife
Clean, but older property. Tub didn’t drain well. River view of balcony was gorgeous. Went to get morning coffee in office and it must’ve been reheated from night before. That was disappointing. Pricey for having no amenities.

The women that checked us in wasnt the most pleasant. The hotel is really outdated and nothing more than a 2 star hotel but very expensive to stay ($229).
Lots if little annoying bugs. Won't be back.
Excellent checkin experience. Stopped by early in the morning on our way to YNP and to our surprise, our room keys were given to us even tho our room wasn’t ready yet which meant upon our return from visiting YNP, we didn’t have to go to the front office to get them and were able to go directly to our room. We appreciated that.
Very nice and clean..our room had a balcony with two chairs and overlooked the river. What a gorgeous view! We even saw a group of elk on the hillside at dusk right across the river.
Lodge is conveniently located right by the entrance to YNP. If you want a quick take-out meal, Gardiner’s Mkt is right up the road and has delicious hot meals (baked chicken or bbq ribs) for $10.49. Store closes at 8 pm.
We enjoyed our one-night stay and would definitely stay here again when back in the area. The manager was very personable and knowledgeable and gave us some great tips about visiting YNP.
The room was nothing to right home about, however the VIEW!!!! It’s stunning! We were able to walk to dining, souvenirs, and market. Very close to the north entrance of the park with great views of the park as well.
Beautiful view. Loved the balcony. My only negative would. be the strong cleaning product scent in the room. Luckily we were able to open the doors for ventilation.
