"The hotel is located in a neighborhood with a lot of foot traffic but not much to do. The hotel itself doesn’t look like the pictures and feels more like a motel than a hotel. The rooms are also on the smaller side."

"As with most economical NYC hotels - the room is small but was enough for us. The bathroom and shower were a good size also considering the space available. The room and facility overall were clean- front desk weekday staff were great, helpful and accommodating. One of our reading lights was broken but I forgot to ask staff about that. The rooms were advertised as quiet from outside traffic and I agree with that despite the proximity to the highway. Blackout curtains were good. I’d suggest staying on higher floors which have a nice view of Manhattan. I also note the stairways readily accessible and very bright and clean. Parking out back is limited but super helpful if space is available. Also some parking on street. I did not eat breakfast there but the reports were that it was not great- fruit was limited, typical hotel breakfast - but so many places to eat around the corner on 4th or 5th Ave that didn’t matter to us. I’d stay again for a weekend. Shoutout to Bijorn and Eddy at front desk helping us out."

"The moment I walked in staff informed me that they never offered valet services, and two minutes later a valet showed up. Our room smelled like mold and the bathroom had a strong urine odor. Ohhh not to mention the clogged tub! We had a terrible experience at the Hyatt Hotel."

"This was a great hotel for JFK layover. They have a prompt airport shuttle and had good food and drink options available late at night and in the morning. They have a clientele made of pilots and airline staff so very accommodating. Staff was wonderful. Beds comfy and rooms were quiet!"

"Outstanding staff. Very polite and respectful. Our room was clean and quiet. No parking available by the hotel. But a parking garage was near by. It cost me quite a bit $35/a night. But the hotel stay was great. Clean, quiet, close to the train and the subway, near tons of restaurants and shops. Would stay there again."
