Enjoyed our stay was clean and nice . The first property wasn’t so good but the accumulated us with a very nice place and even gave some of our money back !
The house was perfect. It was stocked with everything and more! We went for Christmas and were pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful tree and a house full of decorations. The drive up was a little nerve-wracking (one-lane with far drop-offs) for those of us timid of heights but once we were there the view was outstanding! It was perfect for my parents who were able to stay on the first floor, the upstairs bedrooms for our older teenagers, and the basement for my husband and I who love a cooler room at night. The house is perfectly located close to Ober Gatlinburg, the Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge, which was not too far either. We all would stay there again!
Awesome cabin with a quick ride to downtown gatlinburg. Only issue was the bears which were everywhere! Beautiful views of downtown gatlinburg and the national park
The roads were steep but the neighborhood and house was awesome. Just be aware there are bears. We were there less than 10 minutes and the bears were in the yard. They didn't stay long however.
There were some Bear issues coming on the deck during the night and hanging out most days we were there. Some of the lamps did not work, light switches, electrical plug ins not working. Not what you would expect for a house up for sale. With all that said it had a Wonderful skyline to loof at.
The cabin was very nice. While an older property, it was clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful. It was a great place to relax after a day in the mountains.
Place was aged but very well kept and well taken care of. Very roomy and spacious. We needed dishwasher pods and had to leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The place had everything you could need for kitchen supplies. Would definitely rent again for a big group.
Really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We saw bears everyday we were there. Had some beautiful views of Gatlinburg and surrounding mountains. Decks weren't real high off the ground which is important to us since we have children but still provides a perfect view. Looking forward to staying here again next summer!
The overall stay at the cabin was phenomenal with its scenic and immaculate view shining towards the city; even though the doors closing out the blue, which was a mystery. the stay was worth it with its peace and quiet hotub. the only misleading part of the cabin was the everyday seeing a bear.
Upon arrival there was a bear walking thru our yard! We were so excited to see bears and it happened immediately. The house was beautiful, spacious and stocked with everything we needed for cooking and entertainment. We will definitely request this cabin next time we vacation in the Smokey Mtns
I loved it!!! Perfect. Clean, air gets nice and cold. Huge cabin. Erik was supperrrrrrr nice!!!! It was me,my bf and 7 kids. Loved it literally. Seen bears twice, completed our 6 day vacay. My first time ever in Tennessee. And the location is 12 minutes from gatlinburg center. I'd deff recommend. 5+ stars

60th Birthday Getaway
Originally had booked a cabin on the otherside of Gatlinburg. The day before we were leaving to come, we're informed that the cabin was no longer available. Cabins for you was the host for this property and were quick to give us 2 properties to choose from. In a panic, I chose this one. It seemed from the pics that it would suit our needs. Upon arrival, all looked good but upon further inspection, the cabin needed some work. There were broken tiles surrounding the master bath/shower. The glass doors were flimsy in the other bathrooms and vanities were falling apart. Projector TV down stairs would turn on, but we never figured out how to get sound! Cabins for you was quick to respond to our needs and concerns. The kitchen has all necessary items to cook and plates, mugs, glasses and silverware. But nothing else. No condiments, salt or pepper. Be prepared to bring it with you. Not a Karen, but not what I expected. I wouldn't stay here again.
My family rented this house for a long weekend getaway. The main goal was a view - and this really had a wonderful view. The road leading to the house - while a steep incline in spots - was paved - so not a problem getting up. The house was clean and aligned with the photos in the listing. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The location is wonderful - very close to downtown Gatlinburg as well as the mountains. Our goal was to spend more time away from crowds - and we were able to accomplish this by running to town in the morning and then spending our days hiking less popular trails and one day we spent on the Nantahala River (NC) - which was about a 90 minute drive - but well worth it in our opinion! Also very exciting were the bears we saw - EVERY DAY! There were at least 2 different bears that would visit but could have been more. They would just show up in the back yard or lay on the driveway - so exciting! Thank you for hosting a much needed vacation and very peaceful stay!

Great size for large groups, but dated
Our stay included a group of 10 individuals. And the spacious size of the house fit our group well. We never felt like we were on top of each other. We knew from past reviews that the house/decor was dated, but there were some issues that made it seem like the property isn’t being taken care of. There were large water stains on the wall and carpet in the basement bedroom (took up one of the corner of the room) - we understand things happen, but fix it and make it look presentable. Ripped up/shredded carpet in multiple places. In one bathroom, the only mirror was a medicine cabinet on a hinge and it wouldn’t stay closed, so no one could have used it because it stayed all the way open; we had to buy something to fix it so our group could use it. A lot of the outlets in the house were so old, nothing would stay plugged into them. For those folks where bed size matters - this property is not displaying the correct bed sizes. The bedroom that has 2 beds in it - they are both full size beds…not queens! And one of the other bedrooms only has a queen. So, only 2 bedrooms have king sized beds. We had some issues with the WiFi. We were provided with the wrong WiFi network for the house from multiple sources (the paperwork at the house, the check-in email I received, and in a follow up message with the host). We never did get the correct one.

Chalet not what I paid for
This is my email to Erik concerning our chalet trip last weekend and he has yet to respond to me:
Well it started out wrong. We arrived at the chalet at 4:05 and there was a red truck in the driveway with trash in the back and the lights were on in the house. I knocked on the door but no one would answer so I called ur office. The lady I spoke to said to use the door code and open the door. I did and there was music playing loud so I was afraid to walk in. I hollered and still no one would answer so my husband walked in and shouted several times yet no one would answer. The house was a wreck. The lady from ur office called the cleaning place and they said they thought check in was 5. The lady told me they would have it cleaned in an hour if I could wait. By this time I was very upset. We had just bought groceries and had other family coming. It was actually 4:50 before they finished cleaning. The lady from ur office would not offer another chalet. She did offer $60 for dinner but we had 8 people and that would not have paid our dinner. She also said she could take some off the cleaning. I was so aggravated by this time I thought that was just not enough! She said she would call me today and see what else she could do but I have not heard a thing from her.
When we finally got in my husband went to make him some coffee and the coffee maker had old coffee grinds in it and wasn’t cleaned out. My daughter said there was hair and makeup on her pillow. We have 1 kitchen towel and between 3 families for 2 days we have 3 towels for each family which isn’t enough. We went to use the hot tub and one of the knobs blew off and water went everywhere. Also the jets were not working either I called ur office and the lady sent a guy last night at 9pm to temporarily fix it. The beds are hard, the living room furniture is very uncomfortable due to being so old, and just to let u know the upstairs screen door isn’t in good shape either and it was like that when we got there. I have taken some pictures of these things should u need them as proof.
We are making the best of this situation with what time we have but we have stayed in 10 chalets now over several years and I have to say this one is the worst. It really needs an upgrade and for all the trouble we have experienced I believe we deserve a refund. If only someone would respond to me
Property was well kept, well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was usable but the jets didn't all work.
Would definitely stay here again!
I booked this property within 10 minutes after out original booking canceled us due to a burst pipe. I'll list out the pros and cons separately instead of rambling.
Pros-
1. The view is great. It's basically at the top of the mountain. Those sunsets were gorgeous.
2. The check in process was easy.
3. We saw multiple bears as promised. Despite one causing damage to our vehicle, they were cute. My review does not reflect the actions of the wildlife.
4. The road will spit you out at the end of Gatlinburg or onto the Parkway so it was accessible to local attractions without being bothered by them.
5. Everyone in our party had their own space and the layout was nice.
6. The hot tub was clean.
7. The kitchen appliances were nice and new.
8. Every room had a box fan. Loved that!
9. The kitchen had plenty of items to use.
Cons:
1. There were issues that also served as safety hazards. I'm in child protective services so it's my job to assess safety. My daughter is 2 and very mobile. The slats on the main level balcony were spaced out enough for her to slip through. There was no lock on the screen door so we were super vigilant in making sure she did not go on the balcony. It just caused added stress.
There was a nail sticking out of the bottom edge of the paneling that my husband had to hammer back in. The upstairs shower was slippery and my daughter slipped and hit her head on the stone edge. She wasn't playing or anything, simply and cautiously stepping in. When we transitioned to the tub downstairs, the coating in the tub was peeling off into the water.
There was a piece of broken glass in the floor that was discovered the evening of our arrival.
2. The basement smelled of cat urine after a few days. It had rained a lot so it got rather dank down there. The smell was pretty strong.
3. There was a pile of dog/cat hair on the side of one of the living room chairs. I have no issue with animals but it worried me about the cleanliness.
4. This is personal preference but the beds were too firm for me, my parents and my grandparents. My sons and husband had no complaints.
5. One of the toilets was not bolted down properly-the basement bathroom, I think.
6. The TV in the upstairs left bedroom had issues that ended up resolving but it took a lot of work.
That's the bulk of it. The furniture and decor could've used some updating but that wasn't a concern. Everyone has different tastes. I enjoyed the location and the wildlife sightings

Way too expensive for what was offered. Read the full review
This property is wayyyyy overpriced for what it offers. We paid $3800 to stay for a week here and were really disappointed at how things turned out. Instead of having fun, we had to spend 3 days in the cabin while the maintenance folks tried to fix a number of issues (see details below). We weren't required to be there while they fixed it but we chose to stay as we had to ensure the issues were addressed (but not all issues were resolved). The customer service /property managers were very responsive and we got 20% refund when we complained, but we would have rather stayed some place else.
The Good:
1. Very Scenic location
2. Lots of bears. We saw at least one everyday throughout our one week stay
3. Responsive property managers and customer service
The Bad:
1. Biggest complaint was that the central AC on both top floor rooms wasn't working. There's a portable AC in one of the top floor rooms but the other one was just way too hot to spend in summer time.
2. The top floor rooms only has one queen bed and two full beds (as opposed to one King and Two queens listed in the Ad). Another review pointed this as well. This is just false advertising.
3. The shower in lower floor bathroom did not work. No water at all
4. Very slow water flow in the kitchen (to the point it was unusable). I had to send video with the open faucet to their maintenance team as they wouldn't believe it.
5. The cabin is very dated and the amenities aren't that great: (a) Porcelain in main level bathtub is chipping all over and blocking the drain. (b) The Carpet near the main level bedroom door is not attached to the floor (c) The BBQ charcoal grill has a completely rusted grate, rendering it unusable.

Bears all around
Property is dated. Don’t understand why we are charged 289$ for cleaning, if the property is not clean. Once you get over the old house smell and explore the house it’s a good stay. We saw bears and Cubs twice. Drive to property from ski mountain rd is tricky with steep uphill at multiple spots, make sure tires are good on vehicle. I saw vehicles in front of me struggling. House number is only on one side so not easy to find the property, could be fixed easily by property management. There is not much area around the property, backyard is small and other houses are too close.
Bedbugs found in lower & main level bedding - we left early.
Air conditioning not working on upper level.
Air return filters completely clogged with dust/dirt.
Hot water not working in upper & lower level shower.
Laundry room lights worked intermittently.
Exposed wiring on air units in laundry area.
Broken chair stuck back together.
By far the worst vacation rental in 35yrs of travel.
Views great. Rental very nice but dated. Cleanliness not the best.

Gatlinburg was great, house was just ok.
The bed count listed is incorrect. There are 2 kings, 1 queen and 2 full beds. We picked this house because it's listed as having 3 kings. Overall cleanliness is mediocre, do not walk around barefoot on the carpets. Location and view are great, would be nice to have a warning about the drive up, very steep and curvy, no guard rails.
