Awesome View Romantic Chalet is just minutes from Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and downtown Gatlinburg home to Blake Shelton's new Old Red Restaurant. Ober Gatlinburg amusement and ski park is only 20 minutes away.
You could spend much of your stay at Awesome View kicking back on the porch rocking chairs, listening to the breeze rustling through the trees and admiring the spectacular views of Mount Le Conte.

You can ooh and ahh at the towering trees and star-studded skies while indoors as well, thanks to the large windows and double-height ceiling of the living area. Stretch out on the comfy sofa with your tablet as you surf the web by the golden glow of the wood burning fireplace, which will give the cabin the cozy ambience.

Awesome View's kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’d expect from a home away from home—maybe even more. The cabin was very private and secluded. We didn't hear any noises from the other properties around us. The hot tub was very clean and perfect for relaxing. The name of the cabin is truly accurate!

The View is breathtaking and cabin was very quiet and cozy. The hot tub was nice and secluded. The only thing was the upstairs where we slept was a little warmer than we would have preferred, but we brought a fan and managed.

Appropriately Named "Awesome View"

Location was great, only about 10 minutes from town and 15 minutes to Sugarland Visitor center. But that's not what made this a great stay. There are probably hundreds of places to rent in similar locations, but there are few with as awesome of a view as this place! The owner was wonderful too! Easy to work with and great communication. Will definitely be staying here again!

The name is appropriate!

It's a very nice cabin, very private and not far from anything you want to do. Only con I would mention is the plumbing needs attention. It doesn't appear to be vented so the toilets flush VERY slowly and usually require multiple flushes. The view is fantastic! We would stay here again.

Listen to the wind

From a relentless work schedule to sitting on the porch just hearing the wind approaching through the valleys was awesome. It’s a great cabin situated on a mountainside no distraction. . We went to see the sites each day and couldn’t wait to get back just to hear the wind approaching through the valley and passing through the trees above.

Such an amazing view!

What a beautiful view of the mountains! Colors were just amazing! Close to town. Miss Anita was quick to respond to any issues we may have. Eager to make sure our days and nights were perfect! Absolutely wonderful vacation. Look forward to it again next year.

We had the best stay! We picked a bad time to go with all the recent flooding and did end up getting moved to a different cabin but Mrs. Anita was eager make sure we were safe and cozy for the weekend. We plan on going back and we’ll definitely be staying with her again! :)

It was just as posted on VRBO. The view was beautiful!!! Big black bear walked across the yard. Secluded and peaceful. Perfect for some R&R but close enough for parks and other attractions. Thanks for a great getaway!

Very nice cabin.

There is a great view from the porch. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The cabin was clean and had very fast wifi and a strong cell phone signal. The tv's were a bit smaller than I would have expected and the channels available on the cable package was limited to the bare minimum, no cnn or espn, just local channels. Overall, for us it was a great place to stay.
