It was the just the right size for our family. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. The house was well stocked had everything we needed. Of course the best part was the "Awesome Views" We would definitely rent this home again and we will tell our friends about it. The location is perfect to quickly get to various attractions.
Pictures nice for advertising, however cabin had tons of dust on walls and ceiling fans. Mold in bathrooms to include shower curtains and liners. Not enough pots and pans to cook for 22 people to include tiny grill. Most of living room furniture dusty and extremely old game rooms and hot tub were amazing. Overall, great space but fasle advertising great for celebrating events.
Just had the most incredible mountain retreat in Gatlinburg! 🌲 Our cabin was an absolute gem—cozy yet spacious, with stunning views that took our breath away. The blend of rustic charm and modern amenities made for a perfect getaway. Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch or enjoying the warmth of the fireplace, every moment was pure bliss. The cabin's secluded enough to allowed us to unwind completely, yet it was conveniently close to all the attractions Gatlinburg has to offer. If you're looking for a dreamy escape surrounded by nature's beauty, this cabin is the place to be! Highly recommend for a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience. ⛰️🏡 #MountainRetreat #GatlinburgGetaway #CabinLife
I have to admit, I was pretty nervous after reading some of the other reviews, but our experience was fantastic.
First, Aunt Bugs Cabins was excellent in communication and making check in and check out a breeze. We needed extra sheets for a pull out sofa and they sent them up right away.
The cabin was cleaned well and we had no issues with any maintenance during our stay. The bathrooms have all been recently remodeled witch was a plus.
Yes, the cabin is a bit older and has clearly been used by a lot of groups over the years. But it was significantly lower in price than other similar options we looked at and we were prepared for this. All the furniture was comfortable and clean and the views are simply out of this world.
I happily recommend this property and Aunt Bugs based on the overall value and the fantastic management company.
One negative: The resort pool is not great at all, so if that is a huge factor for you, this is not the right cabin for you.

Honest Review
The check-in process was slow and frustrating Check was supposed to be at 4:00, but we did not even receive the actual cabin address till 4:19pm. I found this ironic because when we checked-out, the cleaners were sitting in their cars waiting for us to leave. They won’t give the address till after check-in time, but they certainly are quick to push you out the door at check-out. The actual cabin was mostly clean. Only noticeable cleanliness issue was the dog poop on the balcony. Bed sheets, bathrooms, and floors were clean. However, the air hockey table was broken with an attempted repair of being taped together. It was unusable. The foosball table also had multiple broken spinners and was unusable. The pool table was usable, but pretty torn up. The video games worked just fine. We didn’t even turn on the TV’s so I don’t know if they worked, but the wire management looked like it was done by a kid in elementary so I question whether they worked. The hot tub mostly worked and was clean. Most of the jets were broken, but they worked enough to get some bubbles and be enjoyable. I don’t recommend using the bath tub in the master bed room. The jacuzzi jets in the tub makes the entire cabin shake. It was hilarious how loud it was. We rented this specific cabin for the views though and they were as advertised. Definitely one of the best views of any place I’ve stayed at on any vacation. Only rent this cabin if you want the views. The extras are not worth it.
This property was amazing! The only thing I can say is the appliances need to be updated.

Beautiful location. Improvements could be made in amenities such as toaster, toaster oven, making certain light bulbs are not burned out and trash is picked up before new rentals come.
Everything was great.it was just 2 things that didn’t work.coffee pot and the outside jacuzzi.oh yea and the swimming pool but customer service told me about the rec center not to far so it was fun it gave the kids a lot more to do there and the price was good.
This is a filthy place to stay. No batteries for remote control for the televisions we have to go to Walmart to purchase the batteries we are been charged for subscription on the cable service we didn't order and there's no way to dispute it. We are being racially profiled for making too much noise and as to go back there will be no next time.

Excellent view of mountains!! We had water pipe burst at the ground floor so two baths and bedrooms are not usable. We faced some difficulties on second day as two bathrooms and bedroom were out of order. I won’t recommend this property for large group. Kitchen is not fully equipped. Not enough dishes, bowls, mugs, forks, spoons, pot and pans for large group. Rain water was leaking from roof and on all levels. TV and WiFi had issues and rental management took long to fix it. We found bugs in bedrooms. In short except view my group didn’t find anything good. We felt this property is not maintained well.

Reviewer Comments:
The location of this cabin was quite secluded and difficult to find, but that may have been because we were all exhausted after a ten hour drive from Michigan. Once located, the cabin had a breathtaking view of the mountains, as well as a perfectly sized hot tub that was located on the topmost floor overlooking the mountains. The inside of the cabin was clean and comfortable as well, with several bathrooms and bedrooms as well as television sets. We had a slight problem the first day with the security alarm constantly going off, however as soon as we alerted the property owners to the problem, it was fixed quickly and we had no further problems after that. I would certainly recommend this beautiful getaway spot to any and all families or groups of friends looking for a lovely place to relax next spring or summer. It was actually quite easy to drive into downtown Gatlinburg, where we enjoyed dinner at No Way Jose's the first night. Overall, we all had a fantastic experience on this trip and we would love to return.

NOT CLEAN and needs repairs-very steep drive up-need chains in icy conditions
If you wait until the last minute and rent this place like we did, you might overlook the wear and tear, broken tiles, stained carpets, dryer that’s falling apart as par for the course for a short term rental if you just want a place to stay and enjoy the area. However, the place was simply not cleaned before we arrived. Food was in the couches, under the furniture, hair in the beds (sheets were not washed), towels were stained, the pans were unusable and caked with old dry food or rusted. The trash cans outside were full, but I will say we called and they did come quickly to empty half of them. Not sure if all the cabins these folks manage are the same but I do not recommend this one and you should probably avoid all cabins they manage/rent. Also you need a 4x4 with chains in icy conditions to get to the cabin. We arrived late and had to walk up the mountain for the last mile because the road is not cleaned/salted.
The view from this property is amazing which is why we go to Gatlinburg. The house was a perfect size for our family.
The issues we had with the property was the cleanliness and the pots/pans, serving dishes and small appliance options. The knives left a lot to be desired. I know a lot of people may not go to the cabins with cooking in mind; however, this is what our family does.
The hardwood floors were very dirty and the area rugs had not been swept in a while. We had a 10 month old crawling around in the floor and the tops of his feet got black from the dirt. There were dead bugs and dirt in all of the window sills. Broken tile on the floor where the pool table is located. The water slicker in the loft bathroom was ready to fall off. The hot tub water was cloudy.
Even with all of these issues we would rent this cabin again with hopes that these issues would be corrected.
The cabin was perfect for our family vacation! No waiting for the bathroom, the view is amazing, and just a short drive from the all the attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
The only con is that there are tons of nails sticking out the wall on the kids level, including the foosball table which 2 of the kids cut themselves on. Also a few of the railings on the balcony are lose so I'd keep a close eye on the little ones.
Overall, a good stay for large families.
The cabin does have a beautiful views. The building itself is showing age and needs some updates, especially the railings on the balcony. But it worked well for our large family, plenty of room.

Nicknamed "The Crap Shack" or Motel 6 at best
Great Views is only that. For the money this place wanted to stay the week and what we got was not worth it. Just a quick punch list for you. Main floor wasn't bad at all besides the microwave was plugged into an open outlet with exposed wires that electrocuted my buddies wife. The coffee pot had a lid that did not fit at all. The bedroom Middle level had holes in the drywall, the toilet wasn't even bolted to the floor( that was a wild ride, let me tell you), pool cues had no tips on them, tiles on the floor were broken and loose, the joystick on the PacMan game was broken, and all the reclining theater seats were broken as well. Lowest level was by far the dirtiest. The carpet was stained and still had hair and food from somebody else before we showed up. The lamp switch in the one bedroom was also broken and had exposed wires. The other bedroom bathroom had paint peeling off the walls from prior water damage( could only imagine from the non bolted toilet from the floor above) The hot tub was never cleaned that when you turned on the lights in the tub, the light was dimmed by all the debris and dirt in it. The pool that we had access to looked deserted and was still under repairs. When we made a complaint with Aunt Bugs, the guy just shrugged his shoulders and stated "those are all small problems. " They did send a hardworking young man to the cabin who fixed the outlet above the microwave and cleaned the hot tub for us. That was as far as it went. Small problems.....maybe? But when you pay hard earned money to escape reality for a week, it is the owner and management companies job to ensure their end of the bargain is met. I am a realist and understand things happen beyond your control. The majority of those issues should've been fixed before we even made it in to town. Been going to that area for 35 plus years, never had issues like this place. Good Luck.
