This mountain lodge is nestled in the woods and has amazing mountain views, beautifully surrounded by lush trees, right under the ober gatlinburg gondola route.
Easy level parking for 3 vehicles.

Mountain Happiness

We loved our stay!! It was a great family vacation. Plenty to do, love the nature , close to SMSP, and downtown Gatlinburg. I would absolutely stay at this home again. Communication with owner was quick and accurate .

Family Vacation

We loved the layout of the house with the wonderful main level for everyone to hang out and all of the outdoor decking to enjoy the views. We saw bears every day! Our family had a wonderful time!

Great Family Cabin in the Gatlinburg area!

Our family of 9 stayed here over New Years stayed here over New Years! We had a wonderful time! There were a few things in need of small repairs and replacing but nothing major! We were able to bring our small dog too! The beds were comfy, great location that is close to ski slopes, and the hot tub was super nice! Would definitely recommend this to others!

Family Getaway

This was a fabulous vacation. The house was amazing. The owner was very quick to respond. I feel that the location was amazing. It was close to Gatlinburg but yet up in the mountain to give you a wonderful getaway. The only drawback was that the hot tub was not functioning due to bear destruction.

Wonderful stay with family

Place to meet up with adult kids. Close to everything but still in woods. Saw Bear several times. Enjoyed having meals at cabin. Exactly as owners described. We hiked a nearby trail, spent day in town and appreciated hot tub and time relaxing on deck when back at property.

Short Pre- Christmas Getaway

The home was very lovely, and we had a great stay. I went with my 81-year-old mother to show her the Smoky Mountains and the surrounding area. The house was great, but some minor repairs were needed; however, nothing prevented the house's functionality. A couple of lamps didn't work, likely due to blown bulbs. The location was ideal for getting into Gatlinburg. The neighborhood was quiet, the house had adequate parking, and it was a great place to make as a base camp and unwind in the hot tub after a day of sightseeing. I would recommend it and stay there again.

BEARS!

We enjoyed our stay here as we hoped to see bears and we ended up seeing them each day! We forgot to lock our car doors one afternoon and a bear got in but it was all good! House had lots of room for 9 of us. The house was clean when we arrived however we noticed a stale smell in the family room, not sure if it was pet urine? But no one wanted to sit on the furniture. Deck is nice, enjoyed the hot tub and beats visiting in the “backyard”.

Beautiful home but difficult to get to

Wonderful home nicely decorated with beautiful views from decks on three levels. As the description warned, we did have a bear get into our car overnight and chewed up some gum but no further damage. I was surprised, though, at the irresponsibly steep roads leading up to the home. Our friends had a van that barely made it, so we had to shuttle them up and down the mountain. Also, we were sure to be home by sunset as the roads are narrow and unmarked with no shoulder. We saw two cars that had run off the road into the deep ditch that had to be towed out.

The Wedding

Everything was perfect! The only thing I would do is be more specific about how the layout of the home is. We were hoping there were 2 bedrooms on the main level. We had an elderly person as part of the group. Unfortunately, she was unable to navigate the stairs. Everything worked out well nonetheless. The amount of space was wonderful as well as the ability for individuals to be apart when necessary. More than enough room!

AMAZING!!

A week to remember!! We drove up from Florida to witness the leaves change colors and experience the Fall season. This mountain chalet was perfect. It was close to everything from taking a day trip through the GSM or a drive to Cades Cove. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Ober mountain are minutes away. The check in process was a breeze and the property owners where great and answered all our questions we may have had. The home was in a beautiful location surrounded by many tree’s that displayed colors of the season. We had many visitors too, everything from chipmunks, raccoons and even several bears. It was awesome watching them in their natural environment. The chalet slept 6 adults and 1 child comfortably with room for more. The chalet was very clean and accommodating. The driveway was able to park 2 vehicles with no issues.

The property was great and the perfect size for our 4 adults and 4 kids. Lots of bear sightings, great location, and clean. The road to the house is a typical mountain road, so we had some issues when it rained and our minivan struggled with the one hill, but otherwise, everything was great.

We had a lovely stay. The location was great and home just as listed. Our internet went in and out a few times but other than that everything was great. Oh and if you want to see bear you will. My puppy and I were surprised by them while having coffee though they never came toward us as we walked inside
