Discover Adventure in the Smokies with this Family Friendly Oasis in the Woods

Welcome to Discover Adventure Cabin!

Nestled between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this cabin offers access to all of the local attractions in a matter of minutes. Discover Adventure is only 1.6 miles from the parkway, and a two lane paved road offers peace of mind as you traverse the winding path to this cabin in the woods. Flat parking and space for two vehicles is a feature this cabin offers. Our Ram 1500 fits fine, but please leave larger vehicles at home.

Enter on the main level into the dining room and kitchen area. Granite countertops accent the kitchen and provide plenty of workspace for cooking meals. The kitchen is stocked fully with cookware, and additional amenities such as a blender, Keurig machine, crockpot, and regular coffee maker are also available. Two barstools on the peninsula allow children or others to watch as you prepare your home cooked meals. Enjoy your home away from home cooked meals in the dining room that seats six just off of the kitchen.

Also on the main floor, you will find a bedroom with a 32" in tv, dresser, full closet, and a view of the jacuzzi on the deck. The bathroom for this bedroom is located just outside the bedroom door and features a tub and shower combo and single vanity.

The living room is also located on the main floor and boasts an impressive cathedral ceiling and tons of natural light. There is plenty of seating with two chairs and a large leather sofa. We offer HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, NFL Network, and plenty of kids' stations. Just beyond the living room, you have access to the back deck. Enjoy a dip in the jacuzzi or rock back and forth on the porch swing as you relax in the peacefulness the location offers.

Heading up the stairs, you will find an oversized master with bedside jacuzzi and en suite bathroom. The en suite has a full tub and shower combo and single vanity with extra counter space. A dresser and 32" tv leave more than enough space to enjoy.

Just outside the upstairs bedroom is the kid's loft which boasts twin bunk beds, child's play area, and arcade game. Laundry facilities are also located in the loft. While you enjoy the comforts of downstairs, your kids will have their own area to play and relax.

Mountain cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin in the mountains. It was stocked with everything we needed. It was convenient to Hiking and all kinds of activities in Gatlinburg and Dollywood. It was a very nice getaway.

Great Location and Clean Cabin!

We loved this cabin, it was the perfect size for our family of 5, plenty of room to spread out! Our kids loved the hot tub and video games. The location was so convenient for both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, while still in a quiet and secluded spot.

Mountain Getaway

We loved the cabin! It is so cute and most importantly very clean. After extremely busy days being tourists it was so nice to come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub. Highly recommend this cute little mountain cabin.

Wonderful Cabin and BEARS!

We had a great time in this cabin. It was spacious, clean, and in a great location for PF and Gat. We were there 4 mornings and had bears visit ever morning and once in the afternoon. We will be back!

The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. Quick commute to the park and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We were fortunate enough to see three mature black bears below us from the cabin balcony!

AMAZING!

Wow, what an amazing stay! The cabin was immaculately clean *not even a spiderweb to be found)! Fantastic communication with owner/manager. We has a small leak in the upstairs bathroom, I reported it right away and they had someone out to look and repair it same day, on a Saturday of a holiday weekend! The property is beautiful and not hard to get to. The beds are comfortable and the showers are sufficient. You need to bring nothing but toiletries and food. Walk up the road a little and get a stunning view of the mountains. Thank you for such a great place to stay!

Cozy cabin in the woods

We always seek full kitchens to prepare breakfast and dinner when traveling. This gorgeous cabin has a serviceable kitchen. Stocked well for cooking, but it has poor lighting (a center ceiling light but no task or counter lighting) and no outdoor grill. We brought a cast iron griddle to grill on the stovetop, and found the exhaust fan is insufficient.

Perfect location

This cabin was immaculate and just as pictured. My kids loved the loft and the arcade game as well as the bunk beds. Jacuzzi was the perfect to end each night. Location was great as it was an easy drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend!

Amazing week in the Smokies

We had the best summer vacation staying in this cabin! It had plenty of room for our family of 5 and is very close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. And Brandon was a wonderful host! He gave us some great tips on places to go to see the wildlife in the area (bears, elk, turkeys) and he made us feel right at home in his cabin. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Smoky Mountains!

Awesome place!

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway with another couple! It’s located perfectly for both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Easy to access and close to both. It was super clean and the communication between us and Brandon has been fantastic. I loved the location so much, we will definitely look at booking this one again in the future.
