  • Elkmont Views is a charming one-bedroom studio cabin in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy breathtaking mountain vistas from your private deck, relax in the outdoor hot tub, or gather around the cozy fire pit under the stars. This cabin also features an electric fireplace for added charm and is conveniently located near attractions like Dollywood, Dolly’s Stampede, and WonderWorks for the perfect mountain getaway.

    Cabin Assistance/Emergency/Housekeeping: Once you arrive to the cabin please let us know if you need assistance with anything. If you have an issue with the cleanliness of the cabin, we would rather know upon your arrival instead of in a review, so PLEASE CONTACT US!

    This cabin is located on a scenic mountain road with beautiful mountain views. It's about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. It is located just minutes from the major attractions, shopping and dining. It is located away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far out.

    Check Out: 10:00 am EST

    Two days prior to your check in, you will receive an email with your Cabin Key Code for the cabin's keyless entry system, cabin Wifi code, cabin phone number, directions to the cabin and Contact information for cabin assistance and emergencies.

    You will go directly to the cabin to check in.

    ***No early check-ins without prior approval. There will be a $50 per hour charge for late check outs without prior approval.

    The kitchen is stocked with what you need to prepare meals and create lasting memories. A romantic spot for stargazing or unwinding after an exciting day is the jetted hot tub on the private deck, which is perfect for cool mountain nights.

    The town of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are both easily accessible from this cabin, which is only a short distance away. Enjoy one of those nearby wineries, or turn your trip into an adventure by taking advantage of all the outdoor pursuits the mountains have to offer, including biking, hiking, tubing, and rafting, as well as scenic driving, shopping, and visiting one of the nearby events, amusement parks, and more!

    Trolley Rides
    One of the best and most efficient ways to get around Gatlinburg is by using the Gatlinburg Trolley system.

    Uber, Lyft and maybe a Taxi
    It is possible to book an Uber or Lyft but not guaranteed. You can also find taxis in the area.

    Another easy and fun way to get out and see the city is by renting a scooter! Kids and adults alike think that this is a great way to explore the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Cabin was very clean and had a beautiful view. However communication with the host was difficult. It states you can pay or request late check out or early check in. We were told no. It said checkout was 11am and we were told we had to be out by 10am. There were towels left in the dryer and around 8-9pm one of the cleaning ladies stopped by to grab them. She was very friendly and the towels weren’t bothering us they could have been left. The fireplace would turn on but not turn off not sure why. Overall we loved the actual cabin and I would have loved the stay more if the host was a little more cordial and flexible.

Breathtaking view and so private

My wife and I really enjoyed a 3 night stay in this cabin. The view was so beautiful, cabin was clean, the area is so private and quiet, and the process was easy. We had an issue with the heat out our first night, making the cabin cold. But the next day, they were right there and had it fixed while we were out and it was warm and had no further issues. Hot tub overlooks the beautiful mountains and at night it is spectacular viewing all the stars out. Location is secluded but only about 15-20 minutes from the main Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge strips. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location and views!

Overall, I was happy with the cabin. I loved the fireplace. My only two complaints are that the hot tub leaked and only one jet really worked,a couple kind of worked but seemed blocked or something. So the next day I figured I'd try the jacuzzi inside and was disappointed that it not only wasn't hot but only one jet worked there. However, the pool table upstairs was an added bonus and the fireplace made for some cozy, relaxing nights. I did communicate with the property manager while I was there about something and they were quick and timely to respond. If you are looking for a cabin with great views this is the one! It has the pool table and arcade game upstairs for some added fun. Hot tub and fireplace downstairs for relaxing times. Communication was great.

Quaint little cabin

The cabin is a delight - it IS very secluded but I love being up in the trees, away from the hustle and bustle - it makes for excellent stargazing! Bed was comfy and hot tub was great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the fact that there were wasps in the cabin. I made sure we did not leave any doors or windows open at all other than going in and out, and shutting them immediately behind us, yet there were still wasps inside. Some wasp spray might be nice to have on hand inside the cabin is my only suggestion! I actually did get stung on the foot when putting my contacts in- I don’t know if I stepped on it or what since I couldn’t see! but I was relieved it was me and not my son who was stung! I know bugs are common this time of year in the mountains - again, maybe some wasp killer would be handy to have on hand. We loved the cabin and view!

This cabin was amazing! You will be hard pressed to find anything close to this near Gatlinburg. This cabin is 15-20 mins from downtown which was essential to us. The property listing was accurate and the property itself was very private which was perfect for us. The place was beautiful and very clean. The location was up a pretty steep mountain, but the road is paved and the view is gorgeous. The owners respond to any questions pretty quickly(within 12 hours). We would stay here again!
