Perfect Location

We couldn’t have been happier with this little cabin! It was clean, comfortable, and ideally located. It was only minutes from everything we wanted to do, but felt so private tucked into the hillside. The hot tub was a definite bonus after trekking downtown or through the park.

Great cabin

This was not our first time staying at this property and it won’t be the last. It’s perfect for a couple wanting to get away and relax and only a few minutes from Gatlinburg.

We enjoyed our stay! Cabin was comfortable and clean overall, beautiful views, check-in process went smoothly, and host was very responsive to any questions we had. Only complaint was the shower had a lot of mold and really needs a deep clean.

We enjoyed our quick getaway to Gatlinburg. We chose this property because we have never stayed in Chalet Village. Neat community and neighborhood, property as listed. It was a convenient drive to the west end of the strip to enjoy all the activities.

Nature and Wildlife Phographers

We enjoyed the beautiful scenic views from the cabin deck and surrounding hillside Nature. The lodge was as described. We had wonderful communication with our hosts Chuck and Vicki. We were visited daily by a large black bear who explored our vehicles.

Great place to relax

Cabin was exactly as advertised. Location was fantastic, cabin is perfect for a relaxing get away. Everything worked as it should and as we expected. We saw 7 bears including a mom and her 3 cubs, all within a couple of miles of the cabin. Can't wait to come back, highly recommend this cabin for a couple.

Nice Getaway Cabin

Had a nice stay. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. The hot tub was a nice treat outside. The only complaint was the bed mattress was extremely hard. I’m used to sleeping with a mattress pad, so this was difficult to adjust to. Overall, we really enjoyed the cabin!

I'd like to tell everyone that this property sucks and to never ever book it just so that is always available to me and the wife whenever we want it. We stay a lot in the Gatlinburg area and have used quite a number of properties. Most of them we have been really happy with but this one is the one we will be staying at from now on. It's close proximity to the quiet end of Gatlinburg, the fairly isolated location... we absolutely love this place.

Enjoyed our 2 nights at this cabin other than no heat in lower level bedroom on the first Night and no propane For the gas fireplace In Living room but this was addressed promptly the next morning!

Gburg getaway

The property was perfect for a couple getaway. Beautiful scenic mountain view. Fireplaces, hot tub, beautiful outdoor deck space. The drive a little scary and definately would not want to be caught on that road in inclement weather. Located less than a mile to the ski resort and minutes to downtown Gburg.

Nice place to stay!

Overall we thought the property was amazing. The location was great, it was very private and had all the amenities that we wanted. We were fortunate enough to enjoy several Wildlife encounters. It was very clean and well kept for the most part. Our only complaint would be the caulking in the grout in the shower was moldy which multiple guests have complained about since January. This seems like a fairly easy fix and should be rectified. We would definitely stay there again.

Cute cabin!

The cabin is very homey feeling. It is nicely laid out with plenty of room. The drive up the mountain isn’t terrible. I would recommend taking extra towels for hot tub. Overall, the cabin is pretty clean. There is quite a bit of mold in the shower if that would bother you, and quite a bit of cob webs especially above the bed. Those issues are minimal to us and we would stay again.

4 day getaway

This cabin is well maintained. We enjoyed the seclusion that comes with this cabin even though there are many other cabins nearby. The layout of this unit lends itself to rustic appearances with modern comfort. We also received a call from the property manager to ask if everything was okay. I thought that was a nice gesture. On our first morning at the cabin, we were greeted with a Mama bear and her 3 cubs in tow. The Smokies are a special place and we always enjoy our time there!

Peaceful and beautiful views

Very cute property, had plenty of room for the 2 of us. Great location, beautiful surroundings- just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the park. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Saw some bears, on or near the property, which was neat. Several of the utensils were not clean so I rewashed most of the dishes before using them and there were some crumbs on the counter when we first checked in. Plenty of towels and bars of soap. Would have liked some liquid dish soap to be able to wipe things down with. Not sure if the chemicals for the hot tub were correct- something about it caused us to both be coughing during our one attempt at using it. Overall we were satisfied with the cabin - the peacefulness and views from the deck were priceless!

Overall, nice cabin, but there was a leak in the ceiling and light above the shower that we shouldn't have had to deal with during our stay. I took photos and sent to mgmt for a maintenance man to look at. Just a little concerning to see water dripping above the shower. I did enjoy sitting on the patio in the morning and evening and enjoying the view!

Great Stay

We visited Gatlinburg for our 50th anniversary. This cabin met our needs. Really enjoyed the fireplace in the livingroom. The furniture in livingroom was comfortable. The mattress had some "dips" in it and probably could use replacing. The bathroom has a great shower, 2 heads! But i do have to comment on the mold in the grout. It was not pleasant. Also grout on tile floor in bathroom itself needed a deep cleaning. We have rented many vrbo properties over the years. This one is probaby a 7 out of 10.
