Had A Great time!

We loved staying at the barn. It was a wonderful experience. The inside was rustic and beautiful. It was perfect for spending time with my family. The hot tub was awesome also!!!

SO FUN!

We loved this cabin! The location is great and it was perfect for a college spring break trip (except for the one bathroom, but we were prepared for this). Overall, so much fun!

Cute cabin

The cabin was super cute! Hot tub was the perfect temp and easy to use, and there were supplies enough for our stay. Normal little bugs and such for a cabin. I LOVE the decor, quality furniture and a comfy stay.

Gatlinburg getaway

We had a great time with our family. It was a small family get away for my 5 year olds birthday. The place was clean and quiet. The only thing I feel would have made this place better, would be adding hooks in the bathroom for towels, and small dressers in the bedrooms for us to put our clothes.

Overall great cabin! Check-in process super easy and efficient. Thought the cabin was a little larger. Definitely needs a little larger refrigerator and another bathroom would be helpful. Great location just needs a few more things to be perfect!

Awesome!

Despite the power going out due to the weather, we had a fantastic time!! The hot tub was great, we had everything we needed, and communication with the host was fast! We will plan to stay again. If you like fluffy pillows, bring your own. Everything else was great!

We truly enjoyed our experience! The only complaint we have is the amount of ants that were on the kitchen! We had to throw some food out that was covered because the ants found a way to get it!! But overall it was a beautiful place and great location

Barn in Gatlinburg

Pictures doesn't due this place justice. Was very clean and very well put together. Kids loved the arcade and neighbors are not very close by. We all enjoyed our stay and don't really understand some of the comments on the reviews. It's explained pretty well on listing and would consider staying there again.

Beautiful cabin!

It was very clean we loved the location, we enjoyed the fire pit grill and of course the hot tub!! What we didn’t expect was previous people left behind lots of charcoal and lighter fluid and even some fire wood!! We went ahead and bought some more to leave behind for the next guests!! Wanted to pay it forward! But the location was awesome not far at all from downtown gatlinburg

Great place to stay and local to downtown

We loved the convenience of this location to the downtown area, and that its location was not elevated making it a great place to stay for winter. There are not any direct neighbors, but a road that does stay busy. The decor on the inside is truly a work of art! Antique-themed and truly rustic. There is a bit of a ladybug concern in the bathroom panels, as there was a considerable amount along the ceiling and walls. We are conditioned to ladybugs since we live in GA and understand they roam in large clusters, but some may not understand. The place in general was a great stay and we are truly thankful!

Great location and communication from property manager

We had a great time staying here. I do love the location with a bonus coffee/ice cream shop right in front of the property. We lost power one night due to a terrible storm but it was restored in a few hours. When the wind picked up during the storm, there was a terrible sulfur smell coming from the bathroom. When I informed the property manager, their only suggestion was to open a window. Price was reasonable for the amenities. We loved the hot tub and the portable fire pit. Kitchen utensils are very limited so bring your own. Overall a good experience.

weekend getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. House was clean when we arrived and super easy to find. Unfortunately, the bathroom had an odd smell upon arriving that day and we could not get rid of so we left the door closed. Also, our water stopped working halfway through the trip and immediately someone came and informed us that we could use the cabin behind us to shower… As the day went on, no one checked in on us, or to see if water was running. We were not able to go to the restroom, and every time we had to go, we had to drive 10 to 15 minutes away. Truthfully, the location of the house was a perfect stay, but it was just an inconvenience to us as renters that we had to figure it out on our own.

Beautiful barn

Our overall stay was wonderful. The property was very pretty and the decor was absolutely gorgeous and fitting. The bedrooms could have used more lighting, specifically the later it got we had to use our cell phone lights a lot to look in our suit cases. Overall it was clean, there was a few spider webs inside the house within my babies reach. We contacted the property manager, but there was a multitude of yellow jackets outside in the walls that were getting inside as well. We gathered over 30 off the floor during our stay which can be highly dangerous. The property manager said they would notify maintenance of the issue. Other than that everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back but will confirm yellow jackets are gone first!

Not what we expected

Our check in was for 4pm. They did not have the property ready until 5. We drove 6 hours for this stay. After waiting an additional hour past our check in time the property was still not very clean. They had a bunch of junk in the yard piled up on the property. The dead bolt lock did not work on the door. The hot tub area was not very well maintained. I could keep going but won’t. We paid good money for a single weekend and it was not up to our standards at all! The location was great and secluded as we hoped but aside from that….

No running water

We woke up our first morning to no running water. We couldn’t use the bathroom, shower, cook breakfast, or brush our teeth! We had 3 young children with us so this made things extremely difficult. Luckily we had plenty of bottled water. When we contacted the 3 party company that rented us this cabin, they informed us that the owner does all the repairs on the property. Well, he couldn’t fix it and we had to move cabins. The barn is super cute style wise, and a fun experience for the kids. Hot tub was nice. The bedrooms are small and had ZERO storage for clothes.Also, the loft above the kitchen is a bit dangerous. I would only allow my oldest child up there.

This property was truly amazing! Rustic, historic vibes. The only thing I wish it had was a washer and dryer. Other than that, The Barn at Buckhorn was truly the best. It had a ton of yard space if you are traveling with pets, kids etc. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay, we will most definitely be back!
