This authentic hand hewn log cabin will make the perfect honeymoon experience for the couple that wants to retreat to the mountains for an intimate getaway. It has just been renovated bringing the perfect balance of authenticity and modern comforts.

The authenticity of the cabin and the surroundings of the large tree tops gives this cabin a romantic and private experience. The living room has a plasma 32' TV/DVD/VCR, comfortable leather furniture, and a fireplace constructed out of mountain stone from the Smoky Mountain Park. This home is uniquely designed so that the wood burning fireplace can be enjoyed from the living room as well as the bedroom. The double sided feature of the fireplace creates an intimate atmosphere in either space.

The bedroom has a large authentic log king size bed, dresser, and night stand giving you plenty of storage for your belongings. There is also a plasma 32' TV. The bedroom opens up into the soaking room. This room features a large picture window with incredible views of the tree tops making you feel as if you are truly in a tree house. There is a oversized soaking tub with tub filler, hand wand, grab bars, towel racks and hooks. The soaking room is a perfect relaxing and romantic setting.

The master bathroom offers a large vanity with plenty of storage and a closet for your belongings. There is a large stone shower with a rainwater shower head, hand held wand, and bench seat.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, and anything you would need to cook a full meal and dine in. Located off of the living room and kitchen is a laundry room with full washer and dryer as well as a vintage arcade game system loaded with tons of vintage arcade games.

This cabin is located at the top of a private drive with only one other home located at the bottom of the drive. It is a perfect place to come if you want to escape the world and connect with the one you love!

This cabin was a perfect relaxing getaway for my husband and I. We will stay here again and again. We saw bears everyday! We were so close to everything but yet secluded which is just what we wanted. The hot tub was great after hikes and the fireplace was perfect for movie nights. Plus the bed was comfy! We had everything we needed.

We found the cabin in good shape. Very clean. I would like to see the bed and bathroom linens upgraded. Our stay was all about the bears! We enjoyed seeing them everyday during our stay. We would stay here again.

Amazing place

We come to this area once a year and this place exceeded our expectations. We seen bears daily and the location is perfect. We will book this Vrbo every year from now on… we were sad to leave.

Great location

Beautiful, secluded home in a great location for access to town. Perfect for couples getaway. Disappointed that we didnt see any bears at all during our entire stay. Communication with host was prompt and helpful

Awesome is an understatement!

Our stay was beyond awesome! 8 mins from downtown Gatlinburg… this is my second time staying in Tennessee and this topped it all! Being able to see the bears at any time during the day around the cabin was simply stunning. We seen a bear or two around the area every day! I highly recommend husband and wife getaway! Not big family friendly!

Prefect Weekend Escape

My fiance and I LOVED this cabin! It was so quiet and peaceful. The two person soaking tub was a great way to start our day. And the hot tub was just the right size for us. We really appreciated having a real wood burning fireplace instead of the gas ones most cabins have. It added that extra level of romance to our stay. We will definitely be staying here again

Perfect Couples Cabin

We loved this little cabin so much for our wedding weekend! We were able to bring our lab with us and he felt very comfortable there too. We did see bears every day, which was awesome! We were very sure to give them their space and they seemed pretty unbothered by us and our dog. With it being a pet friendly cabin, I was surprised that the place is probably the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. We’re so happy with our choice to come here for the most memorable weekend! Loved it!

Loved this little place and that it was close to Gatlinburg but far enough away that you have privacy. It was very comfortable inside and well updated. We unfortunately didn't see any bears but had a great time. Loved playing the arcade game a little too. Been awhile since we played Pac Man and Donkey Kong! The weather wasn't a factor but if there is snow, the driveway up to the cabin might be a little tricky especially if no 4WD/AWD. All in all, it was a great stay!

25th Anniversary Trip

Wow!! Will definitely be back. Saw a couple bears. Only negative is the cabin you pass to get to this cabin- looked a little sketchy possibly abandoned - but you can’t do anything about that. Enjoyed the amazing view from the sitting tub, hot tub was amazing, even used the grill to grill steaks. Enjoyed a fire a couple nights. Cabin is exactly as described!! Loved our experience and can’t wait to go back.

Great little cabin for a quiet getaway

This is a cute little cabin not very far from town but far enough to feel quiet and secluded. Everything is nice and clean. We got to watch bears almost every day that we were there. One morning an owl came and perched on a tree branch right by the back porch while we sat outside and had our coffee. We ended up being here while there was a car show in town called slammed enough.. I wouldn’t recommend being here at the same time as this event as the traffic was terrible and it took 30 minutes to go 2-3 miles in town. The best part of this area is being able to drive up in the mountains and see the amazing views. I would love to come back here someday.

Secluded, quiet and bears

My wife and I went up for a week with our Yorky Radar. The cabin is at the end of a shared drive and surrounded by trees so it was quiet and secluded. I assume the outside lights stay on all the time so we had to sweep down copious amounts of cobwebs in all outside areas and sweep up bugs and moths even in the kitchen which isn’t something you want to do after a 6 hour drive. We saw bears every day which was nice but you have to be cautious when coming and going and definitely have to keep pets on a leash. The bed and deck furniture were comfortable. The Love seat in the living area could use an upgrade. We had a great and relaxing week and would recommend to friends.

Nice Place

Overall it’s a nice cabin. The shower is fantastic! The hot tub is big enough for two, but we could only get jets to work on one side. Comfortable furniture and bed. The two-sided fireplace was a favorite feature. Good TV options for rainy days, and fast WiFi. The game system took me back to my childhood! We saw no bears the whole trip. Short wheel base vehicles would be better suited for the trip up. That turn into the driveway is sharp, and the road in is kinda narrow in spots, but we had no trouble in our Wrangler. We would stay here again.

HonEVersary at Bear Naked

Literally the best experience for our 1st anniversary/honeymoon! Secluded enough to have privacy, yet close enough to not have to drive far to town. Pictures don’t do this property justice! Super cozy and the owner is very responsive to messages! We saw Mama Bear & 3 youngins daily! They seem to love the neighbor down the drive! Only had an up close experience on check out day when we left the back of the car open while packing! Mama Bear was headed to get our fudge and jellies! Thank goodness the cabin had an air horn or she would of made it to the car! Definitely will use the location in the future for our trips! It was literally the best!

Peaceful and nature filled! 2 Minute drive down the mountain straight into the center of Gatlinburg!

Looking for an honest review? Be prepared for a lengthy review! We had an amazing time staying here. This spot is secluded and on a dead end road so hardly see any vehicles pass because it’s a dead end road. This might also be a big contributor as to why we saw black bears everyyy day of our 7 day stay except our last day but we also had to leave at 10 am. We had our first encounter within our first 15 minutes of arrival and it was a momma bear with 3 cubs which we concluded must stay near by since we saw them 4 different days. They don’t have the word bear in the name and a bear themed cabin for no reason. You will see a lot of bears especially if you sit out on the deck and eat breakfast every morning like we did. We even had a morning where one of the smaller bears claimed the tree next to us and just hung out and watched us video him. I know it sounds like I’m leaning into the bears heavily but that’s why some people actually come to some of these places. Now on to the cabin itself. Very nice, peaceful, and super romantic place to stay! We absolutely loved how all the lighting could be turned down to like an adjustable mood lighting instead of just an on and off switch. The bed is massive and comfortable. The only notable thing is the bed room doesn’t have a smart tv but most places like this really don’t. You can however find a channel for Netflix and YouTube in the menu guide while scrolling that is like the real app. Have to cut it short due to running out of space!
