The view was immaculate and the place was just as described. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again. The location was close to town but still secluded for time to disconnect.
The cabin is romantic and perfect for a couple getaway. We loved the views of the mountains. The cleanliness of the cabin was very well kept. We enjoyed our time and will be coming back!!
The view is amazing! Me and the wife stayed here for 4 days and couldnt have been happier. Very close to Gatlinburg and the drive to and from is really cool! We fell in love with Tennessee during our stay here!
The cabin is located at the top of a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything looked beautiful and smelled very clean. There was a nice amount of kitchen utensils and supplies with everything you need of staying in for dinner. Couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay for a couple!
Took a long weekend and had a great time at this cabin. Very clean and well situated from town. Lived the hot tub and view from the front porch. Will def come back.
The property was gorgeous and very cozy. The views were beautiful. While being on a mountain with incredible views, everything was in close proximity to where we were staying so it made it very nice.
Very nice! Beautiful view and very nicely updated on the interior. Makes for a very cozy and wonderful retreat. The exterior could use some updating and the drive up and down the mountain can be a challenge but overall a wonderful getaway!
We loved this cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. It has a great view but is still secluded and felt very private. The heart shaped jacuzzi was awesome as well as the hot tub. We cooked dinner one night and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Probably the best stocked kitchen i have ever seen in a rental and we rent a house or cabin at least once a year. Thank you for helping make our trip great!
Property was very nice. Nicely appointed inside. Nice and quiet outside. Near enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Not property related. We had not been to Gatlinburg in over 30 years. The sheer number of visitors was staggering and unappealing. I doubt we will ever return.
If I had a complaint it would be the condition of the last mile of road coming up Ford Harrison Rd is kinda rough and if you are not careful you will drag. Besides that the cabin was amazing with in my opinion the best views of the mountain very private cannot be seen from other locations and far enough away you don’t hear them much.
The cabin was very nice! The robes were a nice touch. The hot tub was very relaxing, not too hot like some. The cabin was very clean. Two negatives,, the bed was very creaky and the porch/deck could use some attention.
We had several bears stroll by. One actually walked up on the porch which interrupted our lunch! This freaked my wife out. I told her bears live here too. All in all, we had a great time at the cabin and Gatlinburg!
We loved staying at this cabin-it was clean, cozy, and charming with a lovely patio area with rockers and hot tub-everything we needed. Words can't capture the stunning view from this cabin...it was breathtaking! I had read where one reviewer mentioned seeing a black bear and I was mildly concerned. Sure enough, we saw a black bear while sitting on the patio which ended up being pretty exciting. We later visited the Smoky Mountain National Park where we saw too many bears to count. But our first experience was at the cabin and it will be a memory treasured and shared for years to come. Thank you!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
Pros: - Cabin was very clean. - Communication leading up to our stay was great. - Check in and Check out were seamless.Cons: - Hot tub head rests have mold on them (guest journal indicates this has been an ongoing issue since 2023) - Hot tub is semi-private, with views directly from the road (so false advertising) - Fireplace does not work and owner ignored multiple requests to send someone to turn the pilot on. - blinds are broken and remotes to DVD player do not work. - Bath robes and towels are old, worn and scratchy.Overall - It's a nice cabin with a lot of promise, but overpriced for the value. Journal entries and other negative online review indicates issues have been ongoing. Consider somewhere else for the price.*Regarding the fireplace, the owner initially responded by sending us a YouTube video to light the pilot light, but that felt like too much liability. He ignored our requests to send someone to fix it and did not reply to our request for a partial refund since we could not use it.
My wife and I celebrated our 35th anniversary with a trip to the Smoky Mountains. Mountain Comfort was ideal for us in many ways. The cabin was clean, neat, comfortable, and everything worked as it should, exactly as advertized. The view from the front porch was spectacular and we enjoyed sitting together eating breakfast outside, enjoying the mountains. We really have no complaints at all. The appliances all worked. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. The heat/AC kept us comfortable. The cabin was close to all of the area attractions. We utilized the Explorie option to receive a few free tickets to things we were planning to do. All in all, it was a wonderful trip and we would highly recommend Mountain Comfort Cabin to anyone.
