Floors were not swept. Dead mesquites crushed on the wall and cobwebs covered one corner of the room. Toilet was loose and rocked. Bedding was clean and it’s a short walk to a lot of prime locations we wanted to visit.

Room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. One pool was closed and one for pit not working. Just a motel style so not the greatest looking outside. Was an easy walk to the parkway.

Can't get a better price for a room in Gatlinburg - I've stayed at HOJO every time I've been to town. Thanks for giving us the most reasonable price, central location, and quiet tucked away spot away from the main road, but still easily walkable to shops, especially with that shortcut through the quaint village shops.

The a/c didn't seem to be cooling to the set temp. We were very warm over night and it should have be 68 in there. Floor was a bit sticky too so I didn't want to walk barefoot.

This hotel is gross. I understand its cheap. I expect ZERO amenities for the cheap price. But the room is dirty. Its not swept. The bedframes are disgusting like they havent been cleaned in months. One bed had some dirt or dust in the sheets so we just both used the 2nd bed. However, there is a bug in the second bed. We really really dont think its a bed bug but we arent experts. There are dead flies on the floor. We checked in late so we just put our stuff down and went into town before things closed. We got back at about 10pm and Im seriously uncomfortable. To the point Im almost ready to jump back in the car and just head back home in the middle of the night. I have no clue how the average customer ratings were above 8.0. Taking the price into considersation Id still say its closer to 5 than 10. I'd also advise that if that this is all you can afford, wait until you can afford something better to make this trip. Honestly, Id rather not have the in room coffee or shampoo or even the TV and have that spent on housekeeping because it is not acceptable to provide unclean rooms. Maybe going the way of Spirit arlines is the way to go. Make small, clean, basic rooms and then start adding $ to the price for rooms with TVs. Charge for toiletries. Charge for wifi, parking, pool access....something else other than the way it is.

A very reasonably priced hotel. Trolly stop is in front of the hotel, just a 2 minute walk to the village and onto the strip. Better than any location we have stayed at. The fire pits in front of each building is great. Met some nice people sitting around the fire.

Bed is too soft. No towel rod in shower area. Old fixtures sticking out of wall in shower area. Cabinet in shower area would be a good addition, for customers to put toiletries on. Location is great. Updated shower stall was nice. Easy check-in & check-out. Nice parking lot.

Great location for walking around Gatlinberg!! Staff was great! Very kind and helpful. It served its purpose for us. Felt safe with kids and we didnt have to drive anywhere for 3 days. Staff was super friendly and accomodating. Location was EXCELLENT for walking to the main strip and seeing and doing everything in the area. Beds were comfortable but the bathroom had a constant leak but we closed the door and it didn't interfere with our day to day, just kept the door closed for the sound. Water pressure was low so showers took a little longer than expected. No real issues, would stay again. Great price!

Have been staying at this property for years and find it a good option for convenience and price. First time bathrooms weren’t as clean as usual. Maybe someone was just having a bad day. So I will continue to stay unless cleanliness becomes a problem. Overall it’s good for a night maybe two. Walking up town is the best part. So close without being on main strip.
