This cabin was the cleanest place we've ever stayed. Beautiful view from the balcony. We got to see a bear in the front yard! We loved this location and plan to come back. Very close to attractions downtown Gaitlynberg as well as Pigeon Forge. Thanks Derek!
Overall we had a great stay in the cabin. Everything was as advertised and was easy to check in and out. Great amenities and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge along with the national park made the visit a memorable one
The cabin was in a great location to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was clean and in a quiet location. The host was very informative with check in instructions and checking to make sure we arrived and had no issues. Follow his directions given by the instead of the GPS because our gps lead us to the wrong location and had us taking roads that were a little sketchy in a dually truck. We even got a glimpse of the neighborhood bear leaving the cabin after we checked out. We will definitely be back.
This place is so cozy , clean and beautiful! Views are gorgeous! Literally in the middle of everything you need and would want to do. The host is amazing! Will definitely be coming back.
This cabin was absolutely stunning! The interior is like brand new but with the character of the antique logs. Extremely clean and beautiful views. We would highly recommend this cabin. We will be back!
We loved this cabin. It was clean, cozy and had amazing views. The area is secluded and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The cabin has all the modern conveniences with a rustic and woodsy atmosphere. We couldn’t find one negative thing to say about it. We are already planning our next visit.
This place was amazing, every thing about it was perfect. Pictures online do not do justice, and WOW…talk about gorgeous sunsets from the balcony. It is also located right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which is very nice. We can’t wait to go back again.
We absolutely loved the cabin and the accommodations provided! The cleanliness was superb and was in a convenient location to get to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge in a short distance! Grocery stores and convent stores were near by as well! Would love to make it an annual trip for our anniversary!
The views from the back porch are amazing! Derek was great to communicate with and was very accommodating when I wanted to book same-day. 4 stars on location simply because Apple Maps originally had me turning too soon and I ended up on the back side of the mountain. 1-2 switchbacks but they aren’t terrible.
The cabin was very clean. The pictures fo mot do it justice...it is beautiful. Needs a little privacy around the hot tub! Other than that no compliants
Had a good time. Everything about staying at this cabin was a great experience. The cabin was very clean, cozy, kitchen had any everything needed, great view and the hot tub was awesome. The cabin was beautiful. The area was secluded and quiet. The host - Derek, communicated everything needed in a timely manner and he even reached out on Thanksgiving to wish a happy holiday and to let us know to contact him if we had any questions or needed anything. We will be back again in the future
We loved this cabin. The location is awesome and the view beautiful. The cabin had everything you would need for a getaway. It was very clean and very roomy. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck and having a glass of wine, so perfect.
This cabin is beyond better than the pictures! It is in a great location to get wherever you want to explore. We enjoyed every second whether it was on the deck, using the amazing hot tub, preparing a meal or just relaxing. We loved the decor and the furnishings were wonderful! Derek had thought of it all and even had directions how to see fireworks from Dollywood. I appreciated all the switches being labeled. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed seeing a. Variety if it’s and even glimpsed a baby bear in a tree. We also had momma and babies visit. Apparently they wanted a ride as they attempted to open our car doors. We enjoyed watching them from a safe distance as they wandered and then ate berries just below the deck. Derek has a nice booklet with all the info for the cabin plus there are hiking books for us to use for our day hikes. The cabin is one of the cleanest we have stayed in! If you are wanting a peaceful, beautiful view with it all cabin this is it! We plan to return. Thank you Derek for a wonderful stay and accommodating us when we extended our vacation!
1. There seemed to have been a neverending supply of flies that somehow got into the house. We never could figure out how they were getting in, but it seemed they were dying as quickly as they were getting in. It remains a mystery as we never kept food out in the open during our entire stay.2. Hot tub privacy could be better. We felt our neighbors up the hill could have easily been catching a peak if they had a notion to do so. We kept the porch lights off and used the available privacy curtains as best as we could.3. We felt there was inadequate supplies of toilet paper and paper towels in the cabin. Our stay was for an entire week and by the last day and a half, we were on our last sheets of each.4. It seems guests are expected to do at least one load of laundry during their stay. We were only provided four bath towels for an entire week's stay. We are heavy users of the hot tub so we used our towels quite often. This may just be me nitpicking.5. The cabin is not as secluded as I would have liked. Gatlinburg's cabin scene is crazy these days. Every hill has two dozen cabins on it and more are being built every time I visit. 6. Local traffic is atrocious. I expected bad traffic up and down Gatlinburg's main street given the time of year we visited, but after speaking with a friend of mine who lives nearby, apparently traffic in the area has gone off the deep end and is terrible always.Otherwise, our stay was excellent. Communication with the host was excellent.
