Mohn Family Vacation

The property was great! The kids enjoyed the game room and movie theater. Whenever they got back to the house they would play the various games that were available or watch a movie. We had a few minor issues but the rental management handled them immediately. If we come back to the Gatlinburg area, we will definitely book through Elk Springs Resort.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We chose this cabin because of the game room for the kids but several games were broken. Maintenance responded timely to repair them but a few games could not be repaired so that was disappointing but overall it’s a beautiful cabin.

Great family home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is great for multiple families. This cabin has everything you need. The views are absolutely beautiful. We had bears visiting us multiple times. The game room was a hit in the evening. We had 18 people and had plenty of room. The only downside was in the master bedrooms the mattress could be better. The grill needs replaced, and the air conditioning went out on the top floor. They were there working on it right away.

Team building

We really thought the house was more remote with a view. The home is located in a neighborhood. The best view was on the top floor... were we did not hang out... game room is on the bottom floor. The home does have a small outdoor fire-pit / hanging out area with a few chairs... but a bear was seen on the property the day we arrived. Enjoyed! The house was large... multiple kitchen areas & bedrooms... BUT some of the games were broken :(

Beautiful home

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a family reunion ranging in age from 8 to 77. This was the perfect home for our purpose. Everyone loved the media room and the play room. The main kitchen was spacious and well equipped. One of the things I liked best was that although there were ample spaces for togetherness, there were also extra kitchens and living spaces if individual families wanted some alone time. The only negative was the last mile or so to the property: narrow roads with steep drop offs and hairpin turns. There were shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. Overall, a great experience.

The cabin was great the check in process needs to be better. When you pay for a check in time and hours later still waiting is unacceptable. An offering of a complimentary later checkout should be up for consideration.

New Not New!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was advertised as NEW... it was not! The cabin had a lot of cosmetic issues, the hot tub was really filthy, the propane tank for the outdoor grill was empty and there wasn’t any firewood as advertised! The place was infested with ants and the media didn’t work in the theater.

Perfect place for family reunion

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a family reunion with 12 people. Loved the number of rooms and queen/king beds in them. Really appreciated that each room had a dedicated bathroom with its own hot water heater so that we didn’t need to worry about staggering showers! The lower floor with game room, long dining table, porch, and large community kitchen were perfect for hanging out together. Also, rooms were large and fairly quiet considering the noise going on downstairs! Great location for exploring all around Gatlinburg.

Overall a pretty good place for a group

The house worked well for our group. The only complaints were that the mattresses were uncomfortable for the adults and the hot tub does not have a cover. The cold rain falling into the hot tub all day Saturday meant that it definitely was not hot.
