A beautiful location. Love the character of the older property. Family loved seeing bears pretty much every day during the day. Would definitely go there again.
This place was amazing. It felt so cozy we didnt want to leave. It was the most peaceful place I have ever stayed. I will eventually return back. Me n my friends really loved this place
Thanks to this wonderful property, we had the best holiday weekend with enough space for everyone to enjoy each other and enjoy some alone time. Everyone had their own room and we enjoyed watching football together, cooking together and eating together! Thank you for having us!
Overall stay was great. We saw bears of all ages and sizes everyday. The cabin itself is in a perfect location to Gatlinburg. We had a family of eight and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend.
Great all around experience. My family really enjoyed themselves and the property was as described in the lisiting. We saw bears everyday of our stay which just added to the experience. Check in, stay and check out was so simple, we had a small hiccup with the WiFi and called them and they were awesome.
Fun things to do- hot tub, pool, ping pong, rock on porch and fire for winter months. 3 king beds and 1 queen were quite comfortable. Close to downtown.
We saw bears all 3 mornings! Great time playing with ping pong table and pool table. Hot tub was relaxing after walking in mountains or downtown Gatlinburg.
We were there for 2 nights and it was awesome. The kids loved the pool room and the hot tub. It was small but it didn't feel crowded. Just the right amount of room for us. Great kitchen space for the size and plenty of room to hang out.
We had a great stay at Bear Paws! We have two 16 year olds and a 20 year old. Everyone had their own room and plenty of bathrooms available for all. We played pool and ping pong and used the hot tub almost every night. It was a great location- short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Staying in the mountains was a unique experience that everyone enjoyed! It was a perfect place for our family!
We had a great time. Bear visits every day! Lock your vehicles and dont leave food in them. The house was very roomy and the teenagers loved the space, the pool table and ping pong table. The decks got lots of use as well. Wonderful time.
This place was perfect for our family. Lock your doors because yes bears can open them. Lesson learned. However we did see a bear the next day and watched it I think that was best part of vacation.
This place was perfect for our family. We had a wonderful time. The only drawback would be the hot tub. It was very unlevel. Some of the jets didn't work and the ones that did were not strong. Other than that, we had zero complaints.
Large comfortable beds and great amenities! No crazy checkout procedures, which was appreciated.
However the showers on the 2nd and 3rd floor were not clean and no one in the party felt comfortable using them. The outlets are unreliable as not all of them work and the handrail by the stairs was loose/ broken.
Tricky driveway and drive up the mountain. Parking structure too short for SUVs don’t made for a tight driveway. Otherwise very comfortable, fully stocked cabin with great views. Owner quick to respond to communication. Thank you!
I've enjoyed this cabin 2 years in a row with plans to keep coming back. There is plenty of room for everyone to hang out together. Close to everything. May be one of the older cabins that could use a little upgrading (mainly the deck). We've seen multiple bears on this trip. One of them right in the driveway
Loved the house, the location is nice but at least one of the roads getting up the mountain is a little scary and I'm not sure how two way traffic would be possible. But that has nothing to do with the house itself. The house was clean and had a nice hot tub, pool table and ping pong table (all of which got good use from the grown kids). We also got to see a momma bear and her cubs hanging out. Lots of space to spread out which we loved. The upstairs is a bit warm but we left a box fan for the next family:) We had a great time.
