Booked this VRBO for my son and I, to do some hiking in Smoky Mountain Natl Park. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the location was right outside the park. Very pleased with our stay.
We enjoyed this adorable property and will absolutely look to book again in the future! Gorgeous high ceilings and natural light! Beautifully decorated, the kitchen was everything we needed, comfy beds… wish we would’ve had more time away from work to extend our stay a bit!
My husband and I loved our stay. It was beautifully decorated, extra clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice and close to town so we could walk to all the main attractions. We would 100% stay again! Thank you
The host was very responsive to our needs. The unit was exceptionally clean. Had everything we needed except a blow dryer. A bear visited the driveway the first morning we were there. We opened the window (didn’t have a screen) & got to get an up close look while being very safe. Highlight of our trip!! We saw several downtown after dinner as well. They seem to be very used to being around humans & enjoyed putting on a show of relaxing & eating walnuts that were on the ground.
We Loved this place! with all the windows to bring outdoors in. Clean, Bright, Comfortable and close to downtown. A family of bears there to greet us on arrival and saw them again as we we’re about to head home.
We really enjoyed our stay. Modern "cabin" with all the amenities. Close to downtown, still in the mountains, easy driveway to navigate and we had a frequent late night/early morning bear visitor we were able to view.
The only downsides:
stairs to enter - which means carrying suitcases up & down at arrival/departure - not a huge deal
1 bath - would've loved a 2 bath option, but we made it work just fine.
We visited Gatlinburg to drive our sports car through the mountains and this house was a perfect match with our vacation plans. It was very clean, well appointed, within easy walking distance of the Gatlinburg strip, and in a quiet spot. The spacious garage was a huge plus. We'll be back whenever the mountains call again.
Very clean and as described. Great wildlife watching from living room windows. Host responded quickly to questions. Not too far from the parkway, but far enough to feel a little more secluded.
What a wonderful place to stay in Gatlinburg! This home was very well decorated, extremely clean, and met all of our expectations. Tim was so kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. This location is convenient to the downtown area as well as the National Park. I highly recommend and hope to book again in the future.
Thank you Tim for everything!
This place was awesome! Very beautiful and clean on the inside. Had all of the amenities we needed for our weekend getaway. It was close to downtown and activities, yet it was located in a very peaceful area. We enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views around us. Communication with Tim was great. He was quick to respond when we had a question. We would definitely rent this property again in the future!!
Newer build very clean and easy to get to and from!
Hands down best hosts to deal with! Had some silly issues which were quickly resolved!. Very very nice house newer build and very well kept. House rules were easy to follow. Garage and seperate room with crib were huge bonuses for us!.
Pleasant stay in a clean and comfortable environment. There are stairs to the door, but we hardly noticed. HVAC was good and had great bed. Decoration was trendy and pleasant. Location was really convenient, and driveway was big and useable. We parked a 14ft enclosed motorcycle trailer. Can Recomend.
House was very clean with a great location. Beds are super comfy, kitchen well stocked, and the new washer /dryer a blessing!Location is walkable to downtown for some but not us as we are Sr citizens. We had visitors one evening- 4 black bears in our driveway!! Loved it and looked for them every night but they didn’t return. All in all a good experience although I would suggest repairing the kitchen outlets, only 1 worked , plus you are required to plug in 1 appliance at a time which is inconvenient. An extra house key would be beneficial in case the original is lost/ misplaced or accidentally taken by a guest. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this location to others.Linda & David
We visited Gatlinburg because our granddaughter was in the national dance comp. We enjoyed are stay. House was very clean had big windows and the flooring throughout with the decor really fit the area. Quiet neighborhood but close to town. We got to see coyotes and black bear which came up the driveway and around the house also saw mama bear with 4 little cubs at neighbors porch then walked down the street.
The space is exactly as described. The home is spacious and well cared for and located in a quiet, tranquil setting. It's an easy drive to town and to the national park. Yes, there are stairs, which are manageable for many but not for some. Unfortunately, we didn't see bears near the property but we did see a fox. :)
This home is beautiful......super clean, very nicely decorated and is in a peaceful setting. The king bed was very comfortable. It was so relaxing drinking coffee on the patio first thing in the morning and listening to the birds.....and seeing the occasional bear strolling casually up the road! We walked to the convention twice but the other three times we ended up driving and braving the traffic, because in spite of the fact that I am a server and am on my feet 55 hours a week, I couldnt take the thought of walking up that mountain one more time....lol! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home and we hope to visit again.
The house is nicely located within walking distance as described (10-15 minutes). Made it real nice to be able to go do wine, whiskey, moonshine tastings and not have to worry about a vehicle. Has a large garage and large rooms. The house decor makes you feel at home. There is a nice paved patio with chairs, we just didn't use it because most of the time we were out and about in town. Communication with property owner was easy and quick.
This was our first time to Gatlinburg. The house was on a quite street and took about 15 minutes to walk to downtown.
Both bedrooms had nice beds and great ceiling fans. There were plenty of towels. No hair dryer, so come prepared.
There is a great view from the front room windows and we were able to spot Black Bears several times!
The host Tim; was quick to respond and very helpful!
If stairs are an issue for you to get up and down, then you need to keep looking.
