  • Walnut Ridge Cabin built 2019 and located on a half acre of woodland. Two spacious decks overlooking the majestic Smoky Mountains. 3 bedrooms with king size mattresses and 3 full bathrooms. Also a daybed and 2 sofa sleepers. Sleeps 7 up to 11 guests! Enjoy pool table, hot tub, Wi-Fi and charcoal grill. Provides a wealth of privacy while only being 5 minutes from all the attractions in downtown Gatlinburg.

The cabin was great, getting up to the cabin was scary…lol ! Bear were present everyday, neighbors were super friendly! Very close to downtown Gatlinburg. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
Leaving and taking our last picture, our family lives in Texas and this was their first time in Gatlinburg

We stayed for 5 days in September. We fell in love with the quite area ontop of the hill. Sitting on the porch having coffee everymorning and even had visitors it was the highlight of our stay. Very clean, easy to communicate with owner. We cant wait to book another week for next year.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I go to Gatlinburg every year for a weekend of rest and relaxation. This location was great for just that, but there are also several activities close by if you are looking for shopping, adventure or something for your kids to do.

The Property was nice and cozy! Beautiful Views & saw a ton of bears. The drive up is a bit dicey and was not a fan of the beds. (Specifically the basement bed) it seems to just be a piece of foam and no mattress) but we had a great weekend!!

Cabin was clean and in great shape. Bed and couches not the most comfy, but were ok for our short stay. Cabin is not as secluded as pictures make it seem. Plenty of other cabins around. Several bear frequent the area. So close the to everything we wanted to do.We had a great time

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious, clean, and well-appointed it was. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, yet the cozy atmosphere made it feel like home.The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling peaceful and secluded. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting a bear, which made our stay even more memorable!We were initially a little concerned about the drive up based on some reviews, but we found it to be completely manageable—nothing to worry about at all.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

Cabin at the top of the mountain

Cabin was very clean and nice. Views were wonderful. The hot tub cover was broke so there was dirt and debris in it before we even arrived. The drive up to the cabin was very dicey. Some spots didn’t have a guard rail and was a straight drop off. We were lucky to never pass a car on the road because I’m not sure what we would have done.

Stunning.. views with bears..

What a wonderful property to stay and enjoy smokies. Great host. Perfect communication with clear instructions days before the trip. The property was perfectly clean and ready for our stay. When the host says there were bears around.. No joke.. there were 2 cute little roaming around the house. Visited the property and around promptly every morning ( except one day - we already felt missing seeing him). The drive to the top of the mountain and to the property requires some driving skills. Drive carefully. Overall fantastic stay. Would love to come back. Also I would recommend for anyone who would want great place to stay, enjoy great views and see cute bear right in front of your eyes.. go for it. Thanks christine and family..

Black Bears and beautiful views.

Wonderful property. The house was amazing and we loved our trip. We saw at least 8 different bears. A momma bear and cub were laying on the deck. The bears are out the most around the cabin in the mornings. Everything was clean and nice. The views are amazing. My kids had a great time. We visited Wonderworks, Ripley’s Aquarium and mirror maze and the peanut butter taffy in Gatlinburg was delicious. We also had fun getting an old time photo taken and antique shopping at the antique malls close by. So much to do! Relaxing in the cabin and sitting on the deck was very peaceful and nice. Highly recommend this place! The bears are fun to watch. Make sure to lock all door and keep car windows all the way up. This has been the best vacation. Also for anyone with a child two and under, there is a pack and play here you can use.

Kitchen was very nice and well equipped. We weren’t able to use the fireplace and internet was down but fixed shortly after our arrival. We did notice some stink bugs coming in the house from somewhere. Overall nice stay!

Great place, beautiful cabin and view. Seeing the bears were very cool. The location of the cabin was perfect. Thankful the roads are paved going up to the cabin. The roads are steep and narrow.
