Only 4 miles to Townsend where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, river access, churches, horseback riding and river tubing, along with motorcycle and street legal UTV rentals. There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. There are so many wonderful things to explore, come stay with us and experience the very best the peaceful side of the Smokies has to offer. Spacious scenic cabin. Loads to do in the area from trails to horseback riding to caving and everything in-between. We ate the best burgers at the Sloppy Hog. Loved having such a nice home base to come back to at the end of our long days adventuring. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our young family had the privilege of staying at the Honey Bear Cabin in Townsend, TN. The cabin is secluded, clean, and peaceful. With our young children, it was the perfect setup for us to get away for a few days. We truly enjoyed our stay and Sheryl made everything incredibly easy for us.

Perfect secluded family cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Honey Bear. Check in was a breeze, cabin was clean and stocked with the essentials. It is very secluded, yet only a few minutes to town. This was a great place for a family vacation. We hope to stay again!
