Great stay!

Just wrapped a great stay! Kids loved the games and air hockey table. Very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely return in the future!

Quiet & Peaceful Porches

My wife and I really enjoyed this cabin. It’s on a dead end street and very private. We usually dont use the hot tubs but this was too inviting and we used it everyday. Another plus is there is a lot of thought to detail like blankets in the living areas and kitchen tools. Finally, while we didn't need Justin, he definitely was very responsive in the booking process and gave me the sense he would be quick to help on any issues.

Spring Birthday Vacation

This is the best cabin we have stayed in in the area. Super clean. Great for kids. Pac Man, Pool and Air Hockey. We can't wait to bring our grandkids with us next year!

A great Escape!

Cades Cove Escape is a peaceful retreat & beautifully decorated with some unique touches. You will feel at home in this cabin. Plenty of entertainment for children & adults. Everything you need is provided. Property managers are exceptional!

Perfect Atmosphere!!!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. With its 3 beautiful porches there is serenity for everyone. It was so cool to be relaxing in the hot tub and have a huge black bear come walking right by. It was an extremely rainy week with a hurricane coming thru, but we never got bored with the awesome game room. Our host was incredible with any issues that arose. Nice location

Good location - we were there for the smoky mountains so about a 20-30 minute drive to hikes we were wanting. Good space but it does have wood floors and is squeaky and loud from room to room so if one of us was awake we all were cut it was fine. Floors were a little dirty and there were cobwebs on light fixtures and dust on spaces but it was fine.

Amazing Trip

As a family we wanted a peaceful stay after my husbands first chemo treatment. This house was over and beyond what we expected. The view is exceptional and we were very close to Grand Lake and park entrance. We had 8 people and it worked out perfectly. House is fully stocked with all the essentials you would need to cook meals and entertain. We loved the moments around fireplace and the large dining area. Would recommend 100%. We hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful place

This home is absolutely beautiful and clean . The only 3 issues we had was the parking in driveway. It was tight squeeze for 3 cars . The other was cold down stairs , they did have 2 little heaters and a lot of blankets . The last one is the tv in master room did not work.

Weekend with friends

Our group consisted of 3 families with ages ranging from 9-38 (4 kids and 6 adults). We stayed for the weekend to attend a festival in Townsend. We’re considering making this an annual trip, and will definitely consider staying here again! The kids enjoyed the game room on lower level, so they stayed down there most of the time. The location of the cabin is in a neighborhood right near the golf course, but the cabin itself is pretty secluded. Parking was tight for 3 families (we had 4 vehicles), but we made it work. The host contacted us prior to and upon arrival. He gave us plenty of information about things to do, along with coupons. Overall, great stay and memories made!

Perfect for our multigenerational family vacation!

Beautiful spacious property perfect for our multigenerational family. The large great room was perfect for us all to hang out together and cook meals together, we all loved the game room downstairs, and we were all happy at night to have our own comfortable spaces to relax. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious, too. There are also many porches in the front and the back of the house which we all loved! The location of the house was very peaceful and provided easy access to the park! Cades Cove was easily reached as well as all the major routes through the park without having to go through busy gaitlinburg. We were so glad we were in the small town of Townsend instead of the very touristy towns of gaitlinburg or pigeon forge. The wildlife was abundant in the neighborhood!! We saw turkey, deer, and a few bears along the roads around the house! We even had a bear in the driveway one morning!! Truly unforgettable experience for the grandkids!! We would definitely rent this beautiful house again!

Beautiful location

Overall the property and location is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay but there were definitely some disappointments specifically around listing description and communication. When we booked this listing, I communicated that my group of 12 would all be on our motorcycles and we would have a vehicle with a trailer. The host / property manager did not mention that the driveway would ONLY fit 2 vehicles and that there is absolutely nowhere to park nearby. In addition, the property itself is on an incredibly steep hill with no place to turn around. Not a problem for most but again this kind of information in the description or communicated to us when we booked and shared our plans would have been greatly appreciated. The messaging and instructions we received on certain topics was also contradictory in some instances to the printed instructions in the cabin, so it made it confusing. The property manager also made it clear that the house should be made spotless. Our group was very worried about returning blankets, remotes, furniture etc to the exact spot so as to not incur a fee. Finally, the house itself is listed as a 12 person accommodation but thats really not accurate. Maybe with children that would have been okay. For a group of adults it was too cramped (not enough beds unless everyone shared the sleeper and twin beds as well) and the house itself is very loud (creeking stairs, no sound proofing between the floors, etc). Everything was fabulous. The cabin pictures were accurate to what was there. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked and allowed us to cook easily during our stay. The beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool table/ arcade games in the basement. The hot tub worked well and was very clean.

We absolutely loved this location from the moment you walk in to the time you leave it was amazing experience. Everyone enjoyed family bonding through the on sight games.
