1 night stay close to the city centre
It was difficult to find the entrance (it is round the back of the building, access is via the 1 car park entrance/exit so have to watch out). The later 12pm checkout and breakfast times 7- 11am was convenient. The breakfast was tasty. Hotel is located 2 mins walk from the tram 8/9 stop called Akademia Muzyczna. There's lots of buses serving nearby to/fro the city centre. Or you can walk 15 mins.

This hotel was in a great location, 10 minutes walk from the Old Town with its great restaurants,cafes, tourist and craft shops and of course the Christmas Market. Its situated within the Music Academy grounds.

Not a good place to stay during summer.
It’s hard to be happy at a hotel where there is no air conditioning, at the top floor and a hot day. The room was a sauna with just a small misplaced window. The room smelled musty.

Interesting ex Prussian Barracks (I think I had the smallest recruit's room). Hotels.com website states "air-conditioniing". Not in my room; in the eaves, two velux windows with very old blinds which don't work. I only actually "slept" one night dut wok but it was much too hot to actually sleep.

Great hotel stay
Great hotel Things slightly different due to covid 19. Hotel great staff rooms brilliant nice size and bathroom. Aircon was a godsend as with quite hot outside. Now due to covid 19. Maid will clean room if you request at reception but you can not be in room or return till cleaned. We made our own beds Saw maid for towels coffees toiletries etc in corridor. Breakfast not buffet 3 set menus see reception for what option u want and what time. Full selection just ask waiting staff what extras you want. We ate our breakfasts in beer garden. Even due to crisis with covid hotel is cleaned constantly gel dispensers everywere to sanitise your hands. Great stay look forward to next trip.

The location is excellent and the property is full of character. Bedroom has character. Our room included breakfast, which while good for the price, we would of appreciated more variety as it is very meat heavy and lacking in pastries. We had quite a significant issue with our double room, one of the blinds was clearly broken or malfunctioning and did not close properly. We reported this issue and were offered the only other available double bed, unfortunately that room had the exact same problem! This was extremely disappointing and we actually had very poor sleep because of this as we were being woken by the sun as soon as it rose because we could not prevent the light getting into the room properly.

The hotel is located in an interesting and quite old building that is only a five-minute walk from the Old Town. The place is very clean throughout and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good. The TV only had Polish and German channels, which was a pity. Also, they were a ‘bit’ strict on their in-room coffee making, providing only one sachet per day. I asked for one extra sachet - and that meant I didn’t get one the following day. Is there still rationing?! Overall, however, I would stay here again - but bring my own coffee!

They had no toaster for breakfast, girls not friendly in the breakfast room. The breakfast very disappointing, we had a drink in the bar and they had no ice. The bedroom was lovely and clean the girls in reception were helpful.

The fact it was part of a music school I suppose made it unique but it's probably a slightly longer walk to the centre of the old town than stated. Perfectly manageable.

Difficult to find, espacially at night. No sign on the street. Located in a park. Buffet for breakfast is incredible. We had supper. White wine by the glass was terrible. The only one sold by the glass. A 5 minute walk from the center.

I found the atmosphere was nice but the serving staff were unfriendly. We arrived in the afternoon and decided to go down to the hotel's restaurant for dinner. Ordered pork medallions which arrived half cooked. It took quite a while to have our food recooked and reserved. I thought the service could have been better.

Staff is very nice and efficient.Room was small, but clean and comfortable. One problem with restaurant.They prepared my salad incorrectly and refused to make it right. I was told I would have to buy both salads. Otherwise, all our meals there were good.

Secure and convenient to Old Town
Small, older historic building, just outside of Old town. Very convenient and quiet. A bit difficult to find, through guarded gate but felt extremely secure. Lovely classical music heard while passing by the school in the afternoon.

it was my 5th stay in the hotel, I reserved a room with air condition and received a room without it in the attic, only in the next day we got the room that I paid for. the rest of the stay was fine. the first night in a room without air condition without proper windows was a nightmare,

Dear Sir, We are sorry that your recent stay in Dom Muzyka didn’t live up to your expectations. Your original reservation was a TWIN LUX ROOM (two separate beds), but on the day of your arrival, you requested changing it into a DOUBLE room. Unfortunately it is not possible to connect two beds in Twin Lux Room, so we had to allocate you in a LUX DOUBLE ROOM. However some of LUX DOUBLE ROOMS are not equipped with AC System. With such short notice that very room was the only option at that time. When you mentioned during check–in that air conditioning is a priority for you, we were unable to make another change stright away. However we offered you a room swap on the following day. We hope that despite the inconvenience your visit to Gdansk was enjoyable.

Gem of a hotel
Another great stay staff really friendly helpful Rooms are brilliant Aircon system really good.5 minutes walk from marina old town. Area seems dark when walking back safe no issues. Resteraunt food is glorious drinks very reasonable price If u stay u will not be disappointed

Lovely room
About 25 minutes walk from main station, but also a tram stops nearby if you dont want to walk. Easy walk to the centre. Lovely good sized clean room with the added bonus of a fridge and kettle. Good choice of quality breakfast items with eggs cooked to order. Would have marked as excellent but loud group of youths screaming shouting and playing loud music until 12mn. Staff failed to deal with the problem, as they ignored our requests to take any action,so we had poor sleep for two of our nights. Pity as stay was marred by this

Hotel a real gem
Had a great stay with mates. Single rooms but nice size nice size bathroom Breakfast was really good lots of choice Resteraunt food was excellent drinks very reasonable staff friendly and welcoming Hotel looks a bit out of city but from main station get tram 3 9 8 Get off stop symphony hotel big building on right go through security gate hotel to left in far right corner Brilliant hotel look forward to next stay 10/10 could not fault anything
