Great location quiet but still close to old town. Breakfast at a real restaurant which was cool. Apartments in separate building. Good balcony

My first stay in a 5 star hotel and it lived up to expectations. They couldn't do enough for me and it was fabulous.

This was a very conveniently located hotel, just off Split Riva (the main tourist strip). I was only an 8 minute walk to the Diocletian's Palace, which is the very heart of the city, and less than 15 minutes to the main bus station and port. Our room was clean and air conditioned, and had a good bathroom and shower. Staff were also very friendly and helpful, and check in and check out were very efficient. Our only criticism, but it is probably as advertised, is that - at the time of our stay - this didn’t have the feel of a conventional hotel. Rooms were spread across at least two buildings, around a small public space, and no communal lounges seemed to be in use. Also, we weren’t aware of a restaurant, and certainly didn’t see a bar. That said, I think a continental breakfast was offered, but it was expensive. Our room was also quite small, had two single beds rather than a double, and one of the beds squeaked very badly every time you moved on it. Location couldnt be better. Front desk was smiling and helpful with questions for local info. 1st floor has a flight of stairs before the elecator if you are elderly or have bad knees. Awesome rooftop patio also to enjoy. Would stay again.

Comments for Luxury Suite: great decor, very clean and plenty of space. Gorgeous view and windows that open wide. Staff were helpful and friendly. Nice roof terrace. A bit of road and party noise from outside but not enough to spoil our night.
