"Great hotel to stay in esp with the restaurant having live music and being on the drosselgasse. Very nice breakfast too which was included. Loved the German culture expressed with outfits the staff wore. "

"Although this location is very close to the cruise docks and train station, I would not recommend staying at this location
The rooms very dirty and the hall light entering the doorway was burnt out and when talked to the front desk he just shrugged it off.
The towels were very old and the whole hotel was outdated and in a need of a face lift
They attempted to charge us for parking when we did not have a vehicle.
I would recommend choosing another location in this beautiful little town"

"The view of the ships going up and down the Rhein, with all those beautiful grapes growing in the other side make it hard to leave!
Friendly, helpful service too!"

"Close to everything. Vineyards, gondola, Rhine cryise and shopping. Very nice breakfast and staff. A little scary at first turning into road of little town but the road drives straight into their parking lot. Beautiful property and town. Thank you!"
"Very friendly staff. Was able to park in lot by hotel. Great German atmosphere with the restaurant /garden. Located next to all shops and restaurants, but just at edge of old town.
We had a cozy top floor room.
No elevator( older building) so be prepared to walk the spiral stairs with you bags. Part of the charm."
"Owners are genuine German hosts. They showed us such kindness. The breakfast was filling and delicious. Great outdoor seating area for visiting and relaxing in."

"We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels. The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water in the shower. We could not use the TV as no instructions and nothing on use of hot tub although there were boxes of chemicals on the windowsill outside. We did contact a man by phone who arranged for cleaners to come in and find bedding - however we had found the duvets by the time they came but they didnt leave any sheets or towels which we needed, and we were out eating by then so we never did get the bed for the children properly made up.There was no furniture in the bedrooms apart from lamps which was very inconvenient with nothing to put things on or in though there were 2 sets of drawers in rooms in the basement which were obviously meant for the bedrooms. The terrace needed garden furniture to be useable. It looked like no-one had even checked that the house was useable and safe even though I note there is a review from June 25 which flags similar issues. The house was expensive and I would expect first class accommodation and facilities for the price we paid."
