"The villa is wonderful, exactly as listed and the host Michael is a pleasure to deal with. The whole communication process from start to finish with him was so straightforward and he will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. Arriving to a traditional home cooked dish that was actually still warm was a lovely touch and was appreciated by us all. The views from the villa are great, mountains one side and the sea the other. The garden and pool area are lovely to spend lazy days relaxing and we made use of the bbq facilities twice too. It’s a 5-10 min walk into town but I actually enjoyed this, some of our party would get taxis back at night, these were always available and cost only 5. Spoilt for choice with restaurants in the town and I don’t think we had a bad meal once across the whole 2 weeks! Beaches are great, always a bar nearby and there is a little tourist train which runs hourly to get you to other local attractions in the area such as Lake Kournas, where we swam with turtles. If you are thinking of going to Georgioupolis and you haven’t been before l would definitely recommend it and I would also definitely recommend Michael and his villa, together they enabled us to have a brilliant family holiday.
