"This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all...

Einzig, die weiche Matratze im Doppelbett war nicht so mein Fall. Dafür hat sich unsere Tochter über die hergerichtete Schlafcouch sehr gefreut. Parkplatz vor dem Haus auch kein Problem. Sehr empfehlenswert!"
