"everything was fantastic. the only small thing was no air con but a fan was provided and once we opened the window, it was cool enough but if it had AC then i would say 100/100. the food, the room, the cleanliness', the staff were all top grade. close to the town centre of everything too so location was just what we needed"

"I'd never stayed here before but was impressed by the great price and the other reviews I'd looked at when booking. I can honestly say I LOVED my stay there. The bed was very comfortable (I was in an Economy Double Room) and I was pleased it had a walk-in shower (apparently some of the other Economy Doubles have a shower over the bath, which I was glad I didn't have). The complimentary breakfasts were provided as a buffet, and there was a great choice of both continental and hot items. I also chose to have lunch at the hotel on one occasion, and it was very well-prepared and tasty. My main compliment about the hotel has to be the staff, many of whom I believe were Filipino. They were all very friendly, helpful and polite, and the customer service stood out as excellent. My only extremely minor criticism of the hotel is that there's no lift, so if you're on an upper floor and have cases then be prepared for a difficult "lug"! I'm sure the staff would help you if required. Overall though - a solid 5/5 - I'll be back!"

"Really convenient position, which enabled traveling to other areas easy. Our room had a sea view which was absolutely fantastic and staff were extremely helpful and polite. All in all we had a lovely stay."

"Comfortable, clean well equipped room that was in good decorative order. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with different hot food options available and freshly prepared to order. The hotel is opposite the beach, so nice for a walk in the morning. My only complaint is s that the walls are thin and I was disturbed by noise from other guests"

"Lovely, well maintained hotel, highly recommended. Beautifully laid out hotel. Amazing staff, always polite and friendly. Good location, 10 min uphill walk from the port. Secret garden has a beautiful sea view and woodlands. Excellent food as well!"
