"The hotel is full of old people who are not happy at all to see younger families or people from other countries who do not understand German. Very grumpy people (including reception and restaurant/breakfast) and not polite. Do not smile, do not apologise or say thank you. Also, do not answer if you said thank you. They constantly stare at you and check all your moves. Is really creepy. That's a shame for this behaviour because the area is extraordinary. I've been told that children...

"We had a perfect stay with 1- and 4-year-old kids. Hotel, the rooms and spa are very nice. Not the newest ones, but still very good and clean. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The walk to the downtown baden baden is doable but lengthy. However, that didn't bother us and we hoped that could have stayed longer."
