Property is older, but well maintained. Our suite was spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Beautiful location, nice view, attentive staff. Would recommend.

I got sick while in Lugano and spent a couple full days in my room. I was so grateful to be at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the room and beds very comfortable. Comfortable clean practical room. Easy to get anywhere in Lugano. The laundry room requires a bit of negotiation with others during busy times. Bring your own laundry soap and basket - for travelers this means a trip to the grocery store.

Great location, 5 minutes from the train station. Spotless rooms, great Wi-Fi, and the best value, perhaps, in all of Switzerland. And just for cred, I have been to Europe more than 250 times, so I know hotels.

Ghiffa seemed very small and quiet, there are a couple of nice, local unpretentious restaurants that are all very friendly and welcoming - with excellent food. A great area if you are looking for a chilled relaxed holiday or time
