A special thanks to Meryem from housekeeping, and Meryem from the restaurant. They did their very best to make us and the kids feel at home. "We highly enjoyed our stay at Riad Andallaspa. The building was beautiful, it had several different sitting areas and a spa we unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to visit but heard from other guests it was great. Abdullah, the daytime concierge, spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful in navigating the city and helping us with bookings. He booked a camel ride in the Sahara trip for us and arranged everything including the driver, Riad stays and much more. Houcin, our driver on the Sahara excursion, was everything we didn’t know we needed for the trip. He seemed to know everyone everywhere, the best spots to stop and eat, the best scenic view points and all the best history and culturally significant spots along the way. This tour turned out to be so much more than a camel ride. His driving skills were incredible as was his ability to drive that many hours and keep a smile on his face the whole time."

"Very rude and unprofessional staff. The AC wasn’t functioning well and most of the time the room was very hot. Room service is very late and not to the standard of the price paid. Misunderstood the booking days and made me pay for an extra night while at checkin I gave them the dates I was supply to stay, when I told them they need to fix it they argued about the new price and when asked for the authorities they wouldn’t call the police and physically blocked me from leaving the premises to call the police. They held my suitcases and passport in my room and did not inform me that I was supposed to checkout on the 19th until I returned from my day out. Overall customer service is very poor and unprofessional, there is no customer satisfaction not the price paid is worth the amenities. Paid similar price at the ritz and had the best ever experience and service. This shows how the hospitality in French managed hotels in Morocco and the customer service in general still lacking and the bureau of tourism should be aware of these issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone else in the future."

"My room was freezing cold. Unfortunately the radiator from 1920 didn’t work. The engineer made 4 trips with different tools at 11:00 at night but still couldn’t get it to work. I slept in my clothes. The shower was lovely but seriously flooded the bathroom with 3 inches of water. My chicken dinner at the Asian restaurant was undercooked which is a recipe for serious illness and rice was $15 extra. Not great value for your money. .the security was oppressive until I understood why and then it was much appreciated. The comped my drink but still "
